Hi, I bought a Digilogic DVRW2 from Tesco today. I have set it up and all works fine except that the picture quality when viewing sky through it ( I intend to record from my planner) is poor and has occasional diagonal lines. I have checked all leads are in properly and have swapped scarts about but no change. Any help appreciated

How have you got it connected up?

Sounds to me that your sky+ is simply tuned into a channel on the DVD recorder and its interfeering with another channel (RF channel).

Or if you are using Scart and viewing through an AV channel it is a poor quality cable which is picking up interfeerence from another cable.

oops I did have sky+ tuned into a DVD channel! Have tried to set it up ie I have selected decoder in AV-2 option and decoder on unused channel but getting sound and black screen,. What am I doing wrong?

Don't select decoder, you're not connecting a decoder to it!.

Problem was dodgy scart lead, works fine now.
Nigel: I got same quality pic using just av button on dvd remote for sky box as selecting decoder on a channel set up
