The problem now is that Adam has asked to be project leader and so he probably will be - and the others will do their damndest to make sure he fails. There's not one of them in there (possibly apart from Christina and Naomi) who will lift a finger to help him in any way - they will ALL stab him in the back without question (especially Katie, now that she's lost her shag). I also think that there's far too many upper-class twits still left in there, who are prejudiced against Northerners (e.g. Simon taking the piss out of his accent). Please don't tell me that we no longer have a class issue in this country, because it's alive and kicking and displayed in its full glory in this show. There is NO way that Adam can go any further now, because the others are just out to get him - end of. (I honestly don't think he had a chance of winning - he's still too self-effacing - but to lose in this way is a scandal, and I might even stop watching it after he goes.)

Adam is the dark horse IMO. If he manages to stay out of the boardroom for the next few weeks he might be a contender.

I would have agreed with you had I not seen the hatred the others had for him tonight. I don't think he will get that chance because they will do him down, however they can manage to do it. They have a real vendetta going now, you can smell it.

Unfortunately I think Adam will be taken into the boardroom every time his team fails the task just because the rest have it in for him.

If he is team leader, they wont want to help him as they will be confident that as the loosing PM coupled with the fact he has been in the boardroom so many times, he will be fired.

The only way he can survive much longer is to be on the winning team and not a PM.

I cannot see him winning sorry , he is cute though!

I was going to make the remark about the class issue.

Paul, Simon and Katie the posh high flyer wannabees seem to look down thier noses at Adam, and in their eyes hes an easy target because he seems quiet and less likely to defend himself.

I think they would have also gave tre the same treatment, but they know he will just tell them to F off so they take the easy target.

Their behaviour, specially the "upper class" candidates leads me to believe they see Adam as a threat, they dont want to be beaten by the working class Northern bloke. So they mock him to each other to try and comfort themselves and convince themselves that he really is "pointless" and "useless" and an "f-inn muppet". Cant remember who it was that said she hoped he would get ran over, but that comment really peed me off.

Another thing that got on my nerves on tonights episode was everyone making a massive deal about that banner. They used that against him through the whole boardroom meeting. They all convieniently forgot to mention that £200+ that Paul wasted on the cheese.

RE: the silent treatment on Adam's return. I've seen all the USA and UK 'apprenti' (!) and you're right - never seen anything like it even when the person is an absolute psycho nutcase. So.....is this a really horrible lot? Or has editing missed out how awful Adam really is? Dunno. Hope not because I really like him based on what I've seen. But then I like Tre so what do I know!

That would be Katie...who also referred to him as a slug, said that he was neither "appropriate nor fit for purpose", and that if she were a teacher and he was her pupil she would place him in the C band so she wouldn't have to deal with him. Also made the comment about wanting Kristina to essentially chocke to death, not an Adam comment but hey, when you're full of so much bile there's got to be a danger of overspill.

I am really looking forward to the aftermath show when she leaves, they've had controversial people on before but no-one who came across as so unpleasant (and unless she's being singled out and they're all that nasty you can't blame the editing, she really is saying these things).

Paul looked grumpy enough at the end when he realised no-one was in his corner so what Evil Katie will do is anyone's guess. Maybe grab Adrian Chiles in her teeth then climb to the top of broadcasting House throwing her faeces at the crowd.

I know that editing can play a big part in any RTV series but I doubt Adam is as bad as he's being painted to be.

JLinardi your class comment is spot on. I think this is the route of the problem and Katie and co definitely don't want a 'car salesman' to get the upperhand or to receive any credibility at all. The fact that he is a Northener and it seems to be mentioned all the time says to me how pig ignorant and arrogant these people really are.

Katie has got to be the most unpleasant contestant I've seen on a RTV show for some time and I suspect SA can't wait to have an opportunity to bring her down to size. I would hope so anyway.

As for Tre...I'm not sure what he thinks about Adam on a personal level, but I have seen a sense of fair play with him, as was witnessed on last night's show when he stood up for Simon.

I would hope that it would come into play with Adam also if he is on his team next week. I also hope that Katie is on Adam's team so that we might see her dragged into the boardroom along with Adam if the team fails. I think if that happens, we can say bye bye Katie...and good bl**dy riddance.

Yes, I'm looking forward to Katie's comeuppance - her arrogance is astounding, especially as she doesn't seem to produce any results worth talking about along with her sidekick Paul.

I really want Adam to win after yesterday's show - if not then Kristine or Lohit. Adam is a bit too quiet in defending himself (compared to Kristine) - if he grows in confidence then he could well be a finalist.

As long as he beats Katie though.

Adam didn't admit that Katie and Paul were at it either. He was a lot more subtle about it than Kristina. I think he is genuinely a nice guy who is being bullied by Katie. She showed what a nasty piece she was last night by saying that Kristina was far too ornage to be taken seriously.

Exactly the same thoughts here - I could have cried for him after what happened when he returned to the house, so nasty - and sad to say, as a Southerner, I do think it's a combination of class snobbery and South looking down on the North - apologies, we're not all like that

I quite liked Simon up till that point

You are absolutely right (I don't think the North-South divide will ever go away). Ooh, I wish I was in that house - I'd have comforted him, lol!

Me too , it's taken a few weeks, but the combination of lovely eyes, cute accent and unfair treatment has made me an Adam woman all the way

I agree with what you said but maybe Adam's big enough to stand up for himself. They are nasty but it is The Apprentice - and as for the people who say the US is 'nicer' - you obviously didn't watch Series 2 with the treatment of the black girl by all the others accusing her of being a psycho and ganging up on her!

Yes but its the point that he never seems to deserve the critisism that he gets, £200 on cheese man paul tried to avoid that issue bringing the banner up over and over again, yes it was a cock up, but no worse than what any of the others have done. He has sold quite well recently and has not needed to be brought into the board room, hes just been took in their for the sake of it. SAS knows this after asking paul 2 or 3 times to justify why he brought Adam into the boardroom.

I have a feeling that Katy will turn her poisonous attentions to Kristina after this week and step up her anti Adam campaign. I wish the others would develop a bit of backbone and see her for what she is - a manipulative, vindictive schemer.

My ideal scenario would be an Adam and Kristina final - unlikely I know, but it would teach all those nasty buggers a lesson.

I definately think he should win, but in this program its always the nicer guys that get voted off first, I hope he can beat some of those other jerks, I felt sorry for him when he walked back in to see them all looking disgusted that he wasnt fired, I liked his reaction of just laughing at them though I also thought it was funny when he dressed up in a lion suit and scared all the children

Does anyone else think he is extremely sexy?

I have to say the way Adam reacted when he returned to the house in last nights episode was very classy....he knows they don't like him and he really doesn't care!

Loved how he hung back in the hallway before entering and saying 'what no cheers' followed by his salute with a wicked grin in responce to the stoney silence and cross faces!!!!

I'm not sure Adam is the best candidate (though surely he is better than most of the muppets left), but he is certainly me favorite and I very much hope he will at least make the final 4....if nothing else it will throughly PO the playground bullies...

Re the silent reaction of the others when Adam returned..was unbelievably bad sportsmanship. It said more about them than it did about Adam IMO. I was disappointed with some of my other faves that none of them shook his hand and welcomed him back. It costs nothing to have good manners, and frankly I was disappointed in all of them, not least the ones who dislike him.

Same here. I went off them all at that moment. It's not that they have to be his best mate or anything if they don't want to be, but a sporting 'well done' would have been appropriate. To withold it shows them as nasty, spiteful, bullying...uurgh.

Adam has stayed over the last few weeks as others have been 'more' of a disaster in the tasks. If he does make it to the near the end (which I doubt) he will be absolutely taken apart by the interviews. He is a nice guy but he hasn't got the depth / breadth & general intellect required. Remember Paul last year coasted through the tasks but when put under the spotlight in interviews just crumbled.

I think Sir Alan knows Adam is limited & I can't see him making it through another boardroom unless someone is as bad as Paul was last night.
