Best episode / worst ever task leader
Apple_Crumble

Was a mixture of the two tonight for me, the best episode I can remember in a long while. Paul is possibly the worst ever task leader, he was shocking!

Adam is the scapegoat for everything, they treat him like dirt off their shoes. Katie is a complete spiteful snob and why is it I get the feeling Simon had a rich mummy and daddy?

He was pretty dreadful, wasn't he?

What about the Indian woman last year? Her name was Nargis and I think she was team leader when they had to sell those animal calendars and she kept going on about bloody cats.

Rory and Paul - imagine them as a dream team combo.

In the worst stakes .. Paul edges it for me, eventhough Trory was beyond pathetic.

I haven't seen any of the other episodes but have to say that Paul just went from bad to worse.

However, it was also hilarious viewing. Between buying slabs of cheese from Macro to sell to the French, empty bean cans to cook sausages and trying to sell pork to a Halal restaurant, has got to make for one of the dumbest leaders ever.

I don't know about best episode, but he was far and away the worst team leader. I couldn't believe some of the stuff he was doing! (I actually thought he was going to be quite good because he'd been an Army officer, but he was so terrible, his military bosses must have been cringing!! Not a very good advert for the British forces, is he??!! )

He was a product of the public school system and then the army -

ENuff said.

What got me about him was his absolute refusal to take responsibility for the task failing. He was still arguing his corner on the You're Fired programme He's like a posh, male version of Vicky Pollard "Yeah but, noo but"

I have a sneaking suspicion he's one of those people who merrily go through life blaming anyone and everyone else for everything that goes wrong and never admitting to their own failings - in fact the idea that he could be at fault has probably never entered his head.

If Paul had a theme tune it'd be: 'It wasn't me'!

His other fault was that he wouldn't stop interrupting people and talking over them, every time someone wanted to put their point across. It was quite funny seeing him trying to talk over Jane Gordon and Nick on "You're Fired".

He's definitely the most delusional candidate they've had. He still won't admit he made any mistakes. He obviously thinks business is about him getting to be boss and people doing what he tells them rather than actually trying to make money.

Brilliant episode. Hilarious in parts and had me fuming with hatred (at Paul and Katie of course!) at other times.

I think the whole country cheered when Paul got fired. Tw*t!

I have seen every episode of every series and it was without doubt one of the best! In fact I loved the task. It was one that I would have enjoyed leading being a bit of a food market gourmet!

Paul was hopeless wasn't he. I actually started to feel a little bit sorry for him but then my class hatred instincts kicked in and that little flame of pity was extinguished and how I laughed.

Its worth remembering that Paul went into the army as 2nd Lieutenant and left as Lieutenant so obviously the army didn't have much faith in him either

My worry is how many more 'Pauls' are over there?
