What's up with EE killing characters?

It would of been better if she was sent to a mental hospital and explain her reasons which could possibly be something to do with her childhood.

Well this show is losing it big time, and if they're planning a Tom King style who done it then bye bye EE.

I don't like the speed at which this storyline will end, the actress who plays Stella is great and a lot more character development needs to be done with her, IMO.

It is a disturbing storyline however, I really enjoy it due to the originality, if it ends so soon I don't think it would have reached it's potential at all to be a great, memorable storyline.

What would be really good is if they're having the wedding reception, and somehow it all comes out, and with Ben revealling all to the entire cast, all shocked.

Stella makes a run for it, but the only way out is up a flight of stairs. Phil and Ian run after her, resulting in all three being on the roof. Phil needs to slap her and we hear a scream as Stella falls to her death.

Did Phil or Ian kill her, or did she kill herself?

I agree. When i read it in the paper my first thought was "how predictable - a villian getting killed". And soaps want to try and keep realism I don't believe Stella would jump off a roof or Phil would push her (I haven't seen it happen yet so i can't moan too much). It would be a much more fitting ending if she was carted off to a mental hospital and she atleast seeks help. But no, as usual the villians end up getting murdered. :yawn: The character hasn't even been in the show that long!

Can't we have an original ending which isn't a murder please? ..

It would be nice for her to be found out and get sent down for the abuse, with the chance of her return in the future which gives both Phil and Ben something to do in the future.

Sophie has done brilliantly and I don't think they should kill her off.. She could always make a return.

When it comes down to it Phil can't hack it. He felt as guilty as hell when Dennis was murdered and when it came to it he did go to save Steve who he hated but was too late. I reckon he will go to grab Stella but be too late and will get done for pushing her.

I agree. Eastenders have a very good character and actress. Killing her off would be waste - she hasn't even been in EE a year and they are planning her funeral

I know this is kind of soppy, but wouldn't it be nice if they tried to find out and help her with her problem? Then she thinks Phil's dumped her only to find him wanting to take her back.
And then she becomes like a real mum to Ben.

Of course she's leaving so that wouldn't happen but I think death is a bit of a cheap copout.

I would actually prefer that ending. It would be nice to see a psycho is soap actually getting help and cured. Not killed off in a whodunnit or grisly accident!

Ditto. It's like when they turned Pauline's death into a pointless whodunnit . It completely cheapened the storyline.

To be fair her being carted off to a mental institution is pretty unlikely - it'd be very difficult for her to be convicted (Ben's word against hers - although it could be there'll be worse happen to him that would be stronger evidence) - and people with mental disorders unfortunately rarely get the help they need in real life let alone soap opera.

I think it would have been better though if she was outed in some way - perhaps somebody walking in on her doing something particularly nasty. I just feel that it's such a sensationalist way to end what has been an otherwise credible storyline.

I agree. Maybe it being caught on camera or something It just seems like such a waste rushed ending to a brilliant story. They will kill her off and then the next week completely forgotten about her

Hopefully this is only a rumour but maybe Stella could try and frame ben faor trying to hurt her - maybe he could then turn against his son

iam sure i read on post here not to long ago, that Stella is around till september when her contract finishes...
