What roof is there to fall from?

They didn't copy Emmerdale because storylines are written months in advance and filmed in advance.

Considering every shop etc. has a flat roof...

But why would Stella be on a roof?

To get away from Phil after he found out what she has been up to.!

I'm just relieved there IS an ending to all this.

maybe shes running from peggy after she finds out. then a catfight can ensue on the roof and stella can stumble and fall to her well-deserved death.

Perhaps it's suicide.

This is what i was thinking. It would be good if there was a rooftop confrontation between Phil and Stella on the wedding day. On the roof, Stella could explain to Phil what she went through as a child therefore, explaining the root of her behaviour and why she's done what she's done to Ben. We could have flashbacks of her as a child and what she suffered...then she could finally jump off the roof at the end of the episode.

A two hander between Phil and Stella on the roof before Stella jumps off, i think would be a good idea.
