I don't think Paul came across at all well on the after programme. I fully expected him to at least admit he'd made a mistake with the baked bean tin contraption!

He still said he would take blocks of cheddar cheese to France as there was a "gap" in the market, even though he had to dump a load of it at the port of Calais! The man was arrogant beyond belief and I think the result at the end where almost every audience board was "fired" was fantastic

He seemed totally mortified didn't he. As Siralan said, in the army he would be surrounded by people not telling him he was wrong.

Talk about self delusion! As soon as I saw the trailers last week and realised somone thought it'd be a great idea to try and sell cheese to the French, I knew that someone would be leaving.

Course at that point, I happily assumed they'd be trying to at least flog the best English cheddar we could offer since Sir Alan clearly said best of British, but no.

I don't think anyone else in the history of this programme has ever got it so spectacularly wrong.

God if Christina hadn't figured out how to cook a few sausages and Adam hadn't been going all out selling the chutney, they would have been in a lot more bother.

The scene in the Kebab shop was like something out of Fawlty Towers.

Paul is still defending his cheeses and slagging off Adam on Radio 5. It was definitely the right decision... He wouldn't survive in a normal workplace...

Paul's a first class idiot - that's why he and the evil Katie are so well suited.

What disappointed me was that the Chef said 'I like you - come to my restaraunt'... despite Paul acting like an arrogant brainless twerp all throughout the show.

What is there to like about him - if he had held his hands up then maybe but he didn't!

I'm suprised no-one pointed out to Paul that even if Adam had got the banner for nothing, they still would have lost Sir Alan money.

I'm now seriously worried for our boys in Iraq/Afghanistan if this is the calibre of their officers.

I thought he was being sarcastic as in saying he'd do it to show him how to cook sausages properly... It was Paul, the arrogant k*ob, who took it as a sincere invitation.

I have to admit I quite liked Paul up until last night's episode, but he was just awful at managing that project and made really bad decisions - in fact, ridiculous decisions, which were his downfall and quite rightly. But he could not and would not see what he did wrong at all and just chose to blame others. Bad move...even after his mistakes were staring him in the face he still wouldn't take responsibility and his arrogance was just astoundingly sickening. All in all, he came across a right knob. Glad he's gone. After liking him beforehand, he now just makes my skin crawl.

As for the relationship between him and Kate, well, that was just plain obvious it was affecting the projects and who he dragged into the board room. It's a good job one of them has left.

It's when Katie and Simon were harping on at the house about the banner costing £140... it didn't... it cost £80 something after Adam haggled him down. Really annoyed me.

That was just dishonest.

He also told Sir Alan that he'd sold the sausages for 4 Euros,when he'd actually sold them for 3.
