Ive watched every episode of the show this season and struggle to understand the unpopularity of Adam amongst his other contestants. After last night's episode Im sure its got to be something beyond his style of business. Anyone any idea at all what the guy done - im thinking he may have said or done something on the first show that peed off the other guys (sorry 'people' in case Jadine is reading).

That said, it might be something he said or done that hasnt been shown on TV.

I am sure many on here would disagree with me on this one, but with Katie IMO it’s a class thing.

I think she is also very good at dripping poison in everybody else's ear. I suspect that Adam wouldn't appear to be as unpopular as he is if she wasn't slagging him off at every opportunity and if everybody else hadn't jumped on the put Adam down bandwagon.

It makes sense for all of them to universally point the finger at Adam each week. It makes him look like the weakest link and detracts from their own ineptitude. After all, united they stand, divided they (or at least one of them) will fall.

Once Adam has gone (which personally I hope isn't any time soon) they will only shift their focus onto someone else, The pack mentality always seems to prevail in this kind of show.

The fired contestants on the You're Fired show have said Adam is a nice guy, even Paul last night. If he had done something terrible they'd have said by now. I really think that his crimes are he's northern - the two men Eclipse tried to get to be project leader in the first task were both the only two from the north of England - and he's a car salesman and he's not as sparky as some. I think that lack of the gab will mean he won't win with Sir Alan but it doesn't mean he deserves the treatment he's getting from the others.

Groups, when they have to get to know each other quickly, often bond by ganging up on one person, and it won't be someone who has done something wrong, it will be someone who has that 'easy prey' feel about them. Simon last night was taking the mick out of Adam that he was a 'muppet', not a terrible person. In the 'Mirror' today they are talking about him as if he seriously didn't know if he'd been fired or not, when to me that was clearly a joke, just expressing how bruised he was feeling.

It made me mad as well when Adrian on 'You're Fired' repeated the idea that Adam is incredibly negative, when that is Katie's tag she's stuck on him - he's wasn't half as negative as I'd be if I had to play gooseberry with Paul and Katie. Sorry to go on but I keep thinking how i would have felt if I'd had to walk back into that room and got that silence for having survived. The others are all cowards afraid of having Katie start on them.

Lord of the Flies - it gets quoted every Big Brother series and it seems to be the same here. However, Adam is no Piggy - he's hot - unlike those overbred chinless wonders Katie, Paul & Simon ......

I really like Adam and think he has done well so far. It's a shame that he's been taken into the boardroom 3 times as he has now become an easy target. I can just imagine that if he's on the loosing team next week he will be back in the boardroom, regardless of whether he has done a good job or not. I hope Sir Alan will be able to see through the other team members tactics.

Absolutely right, it's a total class issue, complete snobbery from the chinless ones (and the others are too stupid and self-centred to stop it). But I think Katie etc. also see him as a possible threat, which is why she's doing her best to try and tarnish him in front of the others (bloody sheep that they are). I think he's a little sweetheart, and he stands up to all the shit in the boardroom pretty well imho!! But unfortunately I think Katie has performed her witchery all too well, and even Sir A has been taken in by it (which isn't difficult, looking at previous shows) - I think poor Adam is for the high jump fairly soon. (He can pop down and have a cup of tea with me after, though! )

Agreed, it's Lord of the Flies stuff - Katie is obviously vile, but I had a huge loss of respect for the others last night when they all blanked him.

I think he's being tremendously strong to stand up to it all. Also, he's never once brought it up in a 'it's personal, they're ganging up on me, boo-hoo' thing sort of way like a lot of people would.

I think Katie'll be gone before Adam, if AS can help it (ie if anyone grows the balls to take her into the boardroom).

I really like Adam.
At first I wasn't sure. But he seems to be a grafter, and OK he has made a couple of mistakes, but has had the honour to own up to them and take accountability each time.

He is also excellent in the boardroom, he always presents a good arguement and fights his corner, I find that really admirable.

He has been picked on by Natalie and now Paul in the boardroom and stood his ground against some nasty attacks on both occasions, without stooping to their level.

Katie is threatened by him and thinks she is superior. If only she knew? She can have all the posh background in the World, but it doesn't give her an ounce of class.

She is chaep and vindictive and jealous minded and a total snob. One of THE most unpleasant characters I've seen on the show.

We can all laugh at the likes of Syed & Tre, but there is nothing overtly nasty about that type. Even Jadine though she is a complete headwrecker, is not cutting or scathing. Katie on the other hand is quite vicious.

Katie is putting down the poison about Adam, and the others are lapping it up. I thought that they were pretty nasty to Adam last night, and was quite surprised to hear Simon being so bitchy behind Adam's back.

It just makes me want Adam to get to the final.

Paul made the same mistake that Natalie made last week - he didn't take Katie in for personal reasons, and took Adam in out of vindictiveness. SAS knew it as well, because he said something about bringing people back for the wrong reasons.

Katie really is a nasty piece of work. I struggle to understand what it is that the others seem to like about her. She's a bitch, and I cannot wait to see her face if and when she gets fired.

I think the way they treated Adam when he walked back into the house was dreadful, so rude.

I too am at a loss to see what he has done to make them all dislike him so much, nothing that terrible in any of the tasks IMO.

He always gets slagged off for some petty little thing (Captain Shambles WASN'T very clear when giving him the budget for the sign, which they kind of glossed over) and he never gets praised for just quietly getting on with it and actually selling which is what he does every week.

If they all think he's so crap, they don't need to keep taking him into the boardroom, surely they need to try & eliminate the contenders?

The bitching and bullying was disgraceful. To see supposed "top business brains" acting like a bunch of schoolkids is really disappointing. Simon!!!! - his "muppet" comments & impressions of Adam have really soured my opinion of him, thought he was a nice guy.

Trouble is, Adam is now a marked man. If he gets called back into the boardroom a 4th time, he's done for, regardless of if he deserves it or not.

I think he needs to be on the winning team every time now until the last 4.

...just wait until they see the clips of her comments, she hides her nastiness from them at the moment, but they will see the footage eventually.

I really hope that Katie dumps on Jadine at some time, because Jadine is such a nutter that I reckon she'll punch her lights out!! (Prepare for a big cheer going all over the country like a Mexican wave, lol!) Adam is one of the sweetest candidates there has ever been, and I just hope that he isn't taking all this to heart too much. (This show isn't doing much for the North-South divide, is it?!)

They could put that on PayPerView and I'd pay to watch it

We were really cheering on Adam last night, previously when he was being labelled as negative he was only saying what needed to be said, and I totally agree that with Katie it is a class thing. I also think her vile, knowing nastiness really puts into perspective the very young and immature so-called "bitches" of other reality shows.

Despite not liking the way he came across I thought he was an okay fella... maybe deserving to go far in the series, but after last night, watching him pandering to that horrible witch, Katie, I've gone right off him.

I just hope that when she gets fired, she's treated with the same degree of hostility and disrespect by The "You're Fired" audience as she's given to everyone else. I'd like to see her reduced down to the level she so obviously deserves to be at.

SAS was really annoyed that Adam was rought in last night, I think he probably expected Kristina because she didn't sell fabulously well and was extremely negative, he only questioned Paul on taking Adam in.

I think SAS is worried about Adam's interpersonal skills and that is all. What Adam needs is to be on the winning team so he can go on a few outings and improve skills with the others!

Also if I was one of the contenders I wouldn't take Adam in again, he actually did make a mistake this week with the marketing and was saved, so I would be thinking I don't want to go up against him, cos sir Alan must think he has something.

If I was a candidate I would be taking in the nobodys like Gazahl and Simon, who up until now have barely had any camera time! Everybody knows if SAS thinks somebody has no talent, it doesn't matter how badly the project was managed, he will egt rid of the no talent. never mind Katie, paul should have taken in Gazahl, that would have saved his position!

I think they're threatened by him. He does have business skills, unlike the others and is also a genuine person who appears to be there to win on merit rather than back-stabbing and bullying.

The others are just relying on the stereotype that Northerners are thick. He's a lot more intelligent and astute than most of them. It's like the way they all slagged him off in the art task then he sold more than the rest of them.

I'm sorry to say it but a lot of public school educated posh southern types hear a Northern accent and straight away assume you're thick. Its sad but true.

I think they're threatened by him, he's proved he can sell, he's down to earth and a hard worker, all qualities that SAS can identify with - maybe they see a touch of the Badger in him and are doing their best to get rid of him as soon as possible.

Then again it could be down to old fashioned snobbery.

I have a feeling next week they will gang up on him when he is team leader, purely to get him out, whether he does well or not.

I really like Adam. His only crime is being a bit dour. He's hard working, honest and willing. He's too good for that lot.
