It's called inverse snobbery

True - and Sir A is rich enough not to give a damn about them anyway! (Personally, I wouldn't work for him for a millisecond!)

I actually think that SAS is putting his credibility on the line on a programme like this and feels he could damage whatever perception he thinks the public have on his judgement if he does hire one of "the chinless" so I do believe he is taking great advice from Margaret and the other fella who's name escapes me.

I hope he likes underdogs...

Nick - I like both of them actually - much better than Sir A! (Talking of underdogs, have you sent that email yet, lol?! )

Adam has no natural allies since Andy left, they have targetted him as an alien to their vague job title, "getting a deal in overseas property" type occupation. Katie was a career soldier for years after being sponsored through her degree by Sandhurst i.e. the taxpayer. I think they have to serve 7 years in return.

The MOD must be furious at the bad image Katie and Paul are giving the army.
Paul in particular reminds me of a character Harry Enfield played a few years ago called Tim-nice-but-dim. I mean, cheese from Makro

I was thinking of just sending a general one of support, with a bit of wanting, a slight tone of desire, then all out lust. Luckily I resisted.

It is all on the BBC site, under Candidates. Tre's family build computers, in Essex, I think.

Officer Katie

Despite not liking the way he came across I thought he was an okay fella... maybe deserving to go far in the series, but after last night, watching him pandering to that horrible witch, Katie, I've gone right off him.

I just hope that when she gets fired, she's treated with the same degree of hostility and disrespect by The "You're Fired" audience as she's given to everyone else. I'd like to see her reduced down to the level she so obviously deserves to be at.
I can imagine the 'You're Fired' studio audience giving her a right royal booing.

Adrian Chiles: "Who are they booing Katie? Who are they booing eh? They're booing you luv, that's who they're booing. How does it feel Katie? How does it feel eh? Go on...cry. Cry you bitch".

did anyone else hear Adam check with Kristina when they came out of the boardroom "I wasn't just fired then was I" <muffled response> "oh good, I wasn't sure"

Did I hear that right?? was he joking? bless him!
No I don't think so. Just before he left the boardroom Sir Alan came out with an ambiguous statement to him, saying that he didn't know if he wants him to be the project manager next week or not.
So as Adam was just getting up to walk out he was probably thrown off guard and only half caught that comment.

It would have been hilarious though If Adam walked out the wrong door to the limosine thinking he had just been fired, only for somebody to run out after him and bring him back. It would probably be the funniest moment out of all three series.

You've just described my ideal scenario. I really do hope that when/if Katie appears on the You're Fired programme, that she is given the treatment she deserves and isn't pandered to by everyone.... and i'm not talking panto villain style booing either. I hope she is told that the way she came across/was edited to look made her seem like a nasty, vindictive bully and it was that that caused people to dislike her.
