who else spotted the "shoe change"??

after Paul had been fired and was heading for the lift to go and get into the Taxi, he was wearing a very unpleasant pair of tan coloured "kipper feet" shoes

and then, when he was walking to the said Taxi, clutching his suitcase, he was then wearing a pair of ordinary black shoes

I can't believe that he would have had time, as the Brentwood House lift was plummeting down and the tinny lift voice- ver person was saying "GROUND FLOOR - EXIT, YOUR TIME IN THE APPRENTICE IS OVER - GOINGGGGG DOWWWWWWWWWWWWWN", to have opened his case, rummaged around (discarding his everso handy jelly pot and tin can for sausage cooking ) to find another pair of shoes

I want to know how he did it

I noticed that ("brown in town" - my father will be turning in his grave!), who would wear such obviously inappropriate shoes with a dark business suit, but a completely ignorant dork??!!

Apparently the 'walk of shame' is filmed right at the start of filming. Each candidate does it there and then. Hence the discrepancy in some of the clothing.

Quote:
“The candidates' "walk of shame" exit sequences are actually filmed at the beginning of the series, at the same time as the scene in which they are shown entering the Amstrad building at the start of the first episode. This explains why the clothes worn by fired candidates in their exit sequences sometimes differ from those worn in the boardroom scene, ostensibly only minutes earlier. In more noticeable cases, hairstyles have also been different. The post-firing taxi ride merely takes the candidate around the block to allow their taxi interview to be filmed. They are then taken to a local hotel to stay the night and finally leave after packing their belongings from the house.”

Yeah there is a thread floating around about continuity errors each week in the walk of shame. I suspect the candidates are actually taking the p*** now, as it's getting more and more obvious. Someone must be telling them to wear the same clothes, and they are just seeing what they can slip past

I noticed quite a few continuity errors last night. Including their attendance in the boardroom at apparently 9am the following morning when Srallen said Good Afternoon when he walked in.

And on BBC Breakfast News today Paul said they were given the task at midday on the Friday, but according to the programme last night they were woken up in the morning and given 2 mins to get up to the room with the big TV in!

Yes, weedledee, I couldn't believe those tangerine shoes when he got into the lift. I was so amazed by them that I was trying to get another look when he came out of the building to get into the taxi, but lo and behold, they were black!

Ana Katie had the nerve to talk about Christina being "too orange" for her own good.

Yes, I'd forgotten she said that. What a really rotten snobby thing to say, typical though.

Well you must have had a different camera angle on your tele than on mine. I noticed the tan shoes as he got in the lift and thought that it would be interesting to watch what shoes he would be wearing whenhe came out of the door.

I deliberately watched for this continuity error but the shots did not show his feet. Only knees up all the way to the taxi.

I will watch the repeat though but I'm sure there was a black shaddow over the bottom of the screen and we couldn't see his feet.

I was watching for his feet too, but I didn't actually clearly see the black shoes getting into the taxi until the clip was played on 'You're Fired'.

Paul shoes came up in his interview on Radio 5 and he jokingly said he realised his fashion error and changed them before he left! Someone else mentioned they all left wearing greatcoats and Paul said you had to buy one before the programme

He has obviously been advised not to tell the public what actually happens...

My OH has just bought some tan shoes - I'm bit worried now in case people start shouting "Oi, Paul, NO!" at him and throwing rotten tomatoes (or raw sausages), lol! (But he has bought them to wear with a light suit, not a dark one!)

Yep, we noticed too, we always look for things like that, I presume they were all filmed at the beginning of the series!
