Nick's reactions on "Your fired"
Cavegirl

Did anyone else notice the looks on Nick's face when they started discussing other candidates?

I wish I had recorded or paid more attention but he looked very surprised when Paul started praising Lohit and I think he also pulled a face when people were praising Adam. So if that's an indication on who remains it's not looking good for either of them.

Please, please, please let Katie get fired before Adam. That's my only hope I'm clinging on to!!

Don't they record the 'You're Fired' show soon after the actual episodes? Or is it very recent - can someone help with the timings please.

Seems a bit silly to have someone 'in the know' on the show.

From people commenting on here that have been to the recordings it sounds like the 'your fired' show was filmed sometime within the last week. I suppose it's so the audience and guests are up-to-date with whats going on in the series so it has to be recent.

I was surprised to see Nick on as a guest yesterday.

You're fired is recorded on the day iirc.
It'd have to be really else the audience wouldnt have a clue about what had happened in the series so far if it had been recorded at the time of the main show.

True but that makes it even more worrying that Paul is so self-delusional that he STILL hasn't realised he was completely in the wrong!

According to my TV mag, Mark Frith (Heat editor) was supposed to be on. If he let them down, I suppose Nick was an easy last minute replacement.

Hope Margaret gets a turn now though! ( I thought she looked quite foxy in the boardroom this week, all in black!)

Long time lurker, first time poster!

You're Fired is filmed the day before transmission - I also was in the audience for the show on Tuesday night. They showed us the episode, then did the interview with Paul, which lasted about an hour, so they just cut it down to his "best" bits.

Welcome!
Thanks for that, that's the impression I had gleaned. I was interested to watch Nick's reaction as he's 'in the know' as to how the rest of the series plays out whereas everyone else there (including Adrian Chiles) know pretty much the same as us. Maybe the woman froma newspare does know a bit more (sorry can't remember her name or newspaper )

Thanks. I've been wondering about that ever since the series started.

Did anything else of interest come up in Paul's interview about the task or the others?

It was Jane Moore from The Sun and it was Nick's second appearance on the prog.

I remember Paul saying Adam was a good bloke and also that he'd seen Katie a couple of times since.

Thanks. I should have said in the half hour of the interview that the live audience saw but wasn't shown on the TV programme.

yes although he didn't have much to say for himself in the bits we were shown so I doubt that we missed much!

How can one get into the audience? Is it ticketed or invites?
