Hi

Looking around for a Samsung 32 LCD , it seems a minefield , with new models , old models , uhf tuners V's Digital tuners , text , no text etc

Its difficult to compare , if anyone as any info on how the models differ , which are old models and which are new

And any suggestions of the best place to buy from ?

The AV Forums LCD section is the place to start with quite a few Sammy threads and real world usage and advice.

Online will 9 times out of 10 get you the best price but you can't beat having a proper demo from the retailer and especially if they throw in a long term warranty.

If you go to the relevant LCD section on the samsung website you will see that they are listed in "age" order. It may involve a fair bit of multiple windows/tabs but you will then be able to compare the specs from there.

Always worth remembering that John Lewis will pricematch any shops (not just online sellers) and you get a 5 year warranty from them.

Yep that'll work but unless the price difference is substantial then a few quid extra to a dealer who took the time to setup a decent demo and will probably be there for you as long you need him is a good investment.

I say that but I bought mine online
