Hi All !

How do I remove or delete an operator Logo and custom Ringtones on a Nokia 3330 ? Are these stored on the SIM Card ?

Thanks !

As far as I'm aware the only way to remove logos or ringtones without totally starting from fresh is to have another one sent to your phone. I seem to remember a *#XXXX# service code that totally formats the SIM card but I doubt that's really what you're after. If it is I'll see if I can dig it up

There's special nokia system SMSs you can send to phones to make them remove the current logo. You can send these along with operator logos and ringtone using Clickatell (http://www.clickatell.com/) for about 3 pence per message. You also get 5 free messages when you sign up.

Clickatell is a serious business and I and many other people rely on it - this is no fly by night company, so please don't abuse it

Not really a special sms - all you need to do is to send a operator logo to your phone for an operator which isn't your phone's operator - example - send a logo as if you are on Virgin to your Vodafone - then the logo will appear when received, but when you save it your phone will revert back to your 'default' operator logo.

There is a ## code as mentioned above that also works in most cases, only I can't for the life of me remember what it is... it'll come to me, probably at 4am one morning.

What media-guru said will work fine, go to here pop in your mobile number and the WRONG network, and send.

theres also the factory restore option - i *think* this removes the logo and ringtones

At least on 3330 phones, the operator logo can be removed by pressing *#67705646#

It will then say "Done" and the logo will be removed. This will remove the operator logo stored on the phone, even if it is for a different network.

A search on Google indicates it does work on the 3310.
