I get this all the time with songs... but I can't think of any at the moment... If it happens again, I'll let you know!
(One I can remember is the first time I heard that really stirring piece of music on the SNP broadcast! Goosebumps galore, and you get a kind of shiver running through you!)
U2 One, or Kite (about Bono's Dad) or Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own.. saw Bono sing Kite shortly before and shortly after his father died.. I can't imagine what that is like, and its that thought that gets the old bumps up.
oh, and "breaking free" in HSM, when all the kids come in to watch and the song starts.. then the parents appear. That gets me everytime. Don't know why.
Weezer - Only in dreams
Tasmin Archer - One more good night with the boy's
Ash - Darkside/Lightside (when the tempo changes at the end of the track, the hairs on the back of my neck stand up)
I've always loved 'Alive and Kicking' when it starts to go into the bit where it goes, "Don't say goodbye, don't say goodbye in the final seconds, who's gonna save you Uh Ohhhh...alive and kicking" and it goes into a crescendo...<shiver again> about 2 mins 30 on this video
- Willing to Wait by Sebadoh
- The guitar solo specifically but the song Thumb by Dinosaur Jr.
- Ugly Sunday by Mark Lanegan
- Thumbing My Way by Pearl Jam

The first 2 chords of Duane Eddy's Because They're Young are enough to bring out the goose bumps, The Shadows Wonderful Land is the other

Possibly the saddest song ever.
It's used in the episode of Buffy where Tara leaves Willow. That's how sad it is.

Yep it's good.
When A Blind Man Cries - Deep Purple
Come Together In The Morning - Free
Fade Away And Radiate - Blondie
I like Belfast Child but my all time favourite Simple Minds track is one called 'Colours fly and catherine wheel' off their New gold dream album.
It has one of the best basslines I've heard.
