I went into my local phones4u store this morning to buy an lg chocolate advertised at £99.95.But when i went to pay for it the boy said how do you wish to pay.No problem with that question. The next question, cash or card.I said cash,He said that will be £119.95.I said why, he said because i didnt pay by card.i could have paid by card but i had the cash on me.I said to the boy forget it and walked out.It seems to me if you pay by cash nowadays you are a second class citizen.

Yes that happened to my friend a few months ago.

He went to purchase a pay as you go phone, I think it was £89.95, when he went to the til and paid by cash he was told he would need to get a £20 top up as he was paying by cash.

He refused and told the guy to take the phone back. It's ridiculous!

Except, that this is clearly advertised as being due to fraud. The price is for the phone when bought with a £10 top-up by Card. If paying by cash its a £20 top-up. Surely, you haven't missed the signs and adverts?

I know CPW state that in their T's & C's but i dont think P4U do. This is why i rarely buy from either of them...
