Phones4u payg
I went into my local phones4u store this morning to buy an lg chocolate advertised at £99.95.But when i went to pay for it the boy said how do you wish to pay.No problem with that question. The next question, cash or card.I said cash,He said that will be £119.95.I said why, he said because i didnt pay by card.i could have paid by card but i had the cash on me.I said to the boy forget it and walked out.It seems to me if you pay by cash nowadays you are a second class citizen.

Yes that happened to my friend a few months ago.
He went to purchase a pay as you go phone, I think it was £89.95, when he went to the til and paid by cash he was told he would need to get a £20 top up as he was paying by cash. He refused and told the guy to take the phone back. It's ridiculous! |

Except, that this is clearly advertised as being due to fraud. The price is for the phone when bought with a £10 top-up by Card. If paying by cash its a £20 top-up. Surely, you haven't missed the signs and adverts?
