Am I just imagining things but when Dr May first came in to the show I thought she had a distinct Irish accent.

However she now seems to be speak all posh and sloaney and then her sister whom I assume she grew up with has come in with the same posh sloaney accent.

So was I dreaming the Irish thing or has the character been phasing it out (like Vicky and her ridiculous American accent!).

I don't remember anything Irish about her...

She never had an Irish accent, she's always been well spoken.

Her accent hasn't changed, she has never sounded Irish.

We have only had her for a few episodes so far, and I would say she speaks softly and well spoken - not necessarily posh!

All i know is that she speaks differently in real life to Eastenders from watching her on This Morning the other day.

She puts her accent on a bit for eastenders

she talks slightly different in real life, she was on This Morning with Phil and Fern and she spoke completley different to the way she does on EE

She sounded exactly the same on This Morning!

I don't think she ever sounded Irish, but i'm sure she sounds posher than she did when she first started.
