I agree. I don't mind the odd tiny spoiler, but when major upcoming exits or storylines are leaked, it does spoil the surprise...though i can never ever resist spoilers...
I hear it was Li!! (just saying that so that there is more possibility of her getting the axe - I cannae stand her!!)

Joe's death through the window was hidden quite well - that only came out about 2 days before it was screened.
But there and again nobody really cared about Joe. He was barely mentioned after the death even by Bert his friend.

Yes but in the end he was the one who bumped off Pauline and was letting Sonia take the blame. It was the conclusion to Pauline's exit storyline even if nobody really did give a toss about Joe.

The BBC does some of the worst leaking "officially".
Joe's death was spectacularly crap. In a matter of days everyone had forgotten about it, and Bert was not remotely bothered.
It does kind of suggest the writers don't care about the characters, the way the exits are done.
Johnny Allen dying of a heart attack, Pauline keeling over (and no Julia's theme!), Ruby's argument with Stacey being cut out, Joe killing himself then everyone forgetting about it.

As if. Just another bit of spin from the EE publicity deparment. Remember their job is to get EE into as many papers/magazines as possible to increase ratings. They probally made the whole thing up.
I did remember reading somewhere that hinted they were glad to see the back of a certain character who recently departed to the great allotment in the sky as the actress who played her was known for her leaks to the press.

Agreed. Does anyone seriously expect us to believe that EastEnders bosses are so riled by plot leaks that they are doing "investigations" about it? Please. People still watch it irrespective of plot leaks.
