Once again Craig has given a good vocal performance. But more importantly, he was the only one to perform properly in the battle scene from Les Miserables. He was the only one who wasn’t out of breath and the only one to do a bit of ad-lib acting in the part. Unknown to most people, he was one of only three the previous week who didn’t mess up during the loincloth scene and start blubbing. They only showed the first four and, as they were all hopeless, must have decided not to show the rest. Congratulations to the BBC for showing that he was the only one showing a professional attitude to the job in hand this week!

He has been consistent in everything he has done in this competition and just gets on with business, without making excuses. Unfortunately, being left to almost last each week, to find out if he is safe, or in the sing off must be really getting to him.

I think he looks like Joseph. I am convinced he could handle the part. But he must believe that when his music starts next Saturday, for the next three minutes he IS Joseph, then the viewers will believe him too!

He needs to show some passion now because, although there are still one or two who are totally wrong for the part, he is less prominent and needs to grab the attention of the viewers to win their votes.

I have noticed that he is never centre stage, where you would expect a leading man to be. He is always at the side or hidden at the back. Tonight when they all should have been in the same shot, during the Meatloaf number, he was off camera to the left and became invisible to the viewers yet again.

Craig doesn’t deserve to be close to, or in a sing off every week This guy will surely end up in a stage production, but for now let’s just give him a chance to be Joseph!

Too many people need to fix the colour balance on their tv's because he is not orange! He's just not the blueish white that most Scots are after a long cold winter!

ALW will always have the final say in who goes out and judging by the faces he pulls, he knows that some of the guys getting high numbers of votes wouldn't last more than one performance in a major production. They probably wouldn't survive the rehearsals!

In most cases It's all too much like bad karaoke for me and what it should come down to, is whether they can cut it in a theatrical situation. I think Craig has shown that he can cut it when put in that situation.

We've liked Craig from the start in our household and I definitely think he's improved. He's looking more relaxed now whereas the first couple of weeks his smile looked really painted on, bless him. He seems like a good lad and I was really pleased he stayed in last night. He's bearing the strain of often being in the bottom two very well and I agree he hasn't deserved to be there every time.

Who knows what Joseph is supposed to look like? No ones met the guy, all we have to go on is Jason Donovan, Donny Osmond and Phillip Schofidld as far as West End performances go, I personally am looking for stunning voice, confidence, and acting. I dont want to be sat crossing my fingers hoping they will make it through a song, i want to have full confidence they can carry it off. All the lads have fab voices in certain songs, i want a fab voice for every kind of song. I do however agree, all the lads should take turns at been centre stage different weeks.
Craigs the most like Jason D in looks but for me that dont make him Joseph.

Well Ben also handled the loin cloth task well and was the other guy not to be breathless on the barricade task. Oh and he has been bottom twice and always called out as safe towards the end so I fail to see how Craig is getting unfair treatment

I thought it was Craig's best week because his personality was beginning to come across.

He had nice interaction with the dancer.

I've always thought Craig was quite good and I'm glad he's stayed longer than people seemed to think he would. However, he still seems to lack oomph - I just can't see him holding the audience's attention. Plus in the sing-off on Saturday his tuning was a bit dodgy, to say the least.

Craig has been consistant in the fact that each week he improves..I hope that having seen how he performed in the barricade mission which was shown after lines closed and he does a good vocal saturday he will escape the bottom 2. Not sure if he is Joseph but he is definatley better than a couple left that being Lewis and Rob

Mmmmmmm some insider knowledge me thinks - looks like undercover PR. Much as I like him this will put me off voting for him.

isnt all this forum like pr for each person whether they know them or not.

I read every post as an a personal opinion and add my knowledge to it to get another perspective on it.

But I always hold my vote until the show night, using previous weeks as a guide cos if they fluff big time like Antony (which was a shame to witness) are they really going to be able to 8 shows a week.

So no one is saying vote for him or else they are saying he is constent and always rising to the missions and asking what is he missing.

Craig was one of the best on Saturday along with Keith (only one with an easy song) Lee and Daniel.

No way did he deserve to be in the bottom two and i'm glad ALW saved him.

I look forward to seeing if he improves again.

I think Craig is good, and definitely consistent but is somewhat lacking in the "wow" factor. I think John B was spot on when he remarked that Craig more animation talking about his mum then when he is on stage. Craig has to start letting go a bit and showing more of himself, otherwise he might find himself in the bottom 2 again next week.

I think he's been unlucky because ALW can't seem to stop giving him cheesy songs, which makes it hard for Craig to move away from the cabaret image. I hope he gets a better song, and I hope he ups his game and actually puts some passion in his performance.

I find Craig a bit dull, not enough charisma or presence. He is definitely better than Ben and Lewis and maybe has the edge on Rob but is definitely not a real contender in my eyes.

theres somethin about the way craig sings that gets on my nerves. he sounds very nasally at times.

I'm sorry but Craig is like Chris, often looks too nervous, perhaps IDOL shattered his confidence - I don't think he has quite got what is needed. I do hope quite a few of them to go on and work in Theatre, but this is just about JOSEPH!

When he smiles his whole face lights up - if only he could show a bit more animation when he's singing.

I wonder if he's trying too hard not to be "Cabaret", but due to song choices is then left with nowhere to go with the song.
Perhaps a proper showtune will finally show what he can or can not do !!

I do think craig has a good voice but he just bores me when he's performing i don't know whether it's cos he's given rubbish songs or whether he just doesn't have star quality!

I just adore Craig's genuine, all round loveliness and I find his performances the most nerve-racking of the night. I get so nervous for him I think I'm hooked on it ! The adrenalin rush of the "will he" or "won't he let go this week"

Glad to see say he has got better (and better looking ) each week - and this weeks song should give us the answer to his credibility when he takes on Michael Ball's "This Is The Moment" - a stonker of a tune that could finally see Craig get up there with the contenders. He is ready for it - I hope the gbp give him a sporting chance and see he's worth keeping in. I'm so looking forward to Saturday \o/

I'm a big critic of Craig but I must admit he had improved a lot this week. However, I still think he is a charisma-free zone and I don't know how he can change that.
