I actually chocked on my dinner at Paul's words on the podcast. When asked about the banner negotiation Paul claimed that it was him not Adam that negotiated the banner price. To which Richard replied that we SAW Adam doing the negotiating, this was then followed by this exchange:

Paul: Yeah well, someone on the production team fancies Simon
Richard: Simon?
Paul: No.. what's his name...
Richard: Adam?
Paul: Yeah him. (disgustedly) Northern. Useless.

As a northerner can I just say HOW RUDE!!!

He also called the French, with great wit and originality "cheese eating surrender monkeys". Although, as the rubbish bins of Calais will confirm, they're not actually that keen on cheese ...
