As usual where Jadine is concerned, I have to wonder what episode you were watching.

Not only was Ghazal singled out by the Choccy factory man as being ineffectual, it was Jadine's idea to bump up the price of lollies in order to compensate for low stock.
Good for her. And I'm not praising Ghazal here. She was a lousy project manager; I think she's weaker than Jadine generally. I just watched some of the "unseen" clips for the first time, and it still wasn't clear who was primarily responsible for the chocolate fiasco. The voice-over had said Ghazal and Jadine were doing that part, so I consider them jointly responsible. Ghazal gets a little bit of slack because she was PM and had additional things to think of. She's seen trying to sort out the mess, but it doesn't follow she was most to blame for causing it.Quote:
you insist on seeing what you want to see with Jadine.
I'm seeing what's in front of me. The stuff I described all happened.I'm looking forward to the next episode. Jadine is PM again, and managing Tre and Simon again, just like in ep1. I hope she does better this time - and I hope she gets enough screen time to make it clear. |

I think it's too difficult at this stage to assess Jadine, as since SA told her to button it - she has. As has been mentioned, she hasn't been in the boardroom for the last 3 (?) programmes so hasn't been required to defend herself.
Unfortunately, this week the task of PM will be yet another poisoned chalice, in that most of the team will be trying to show her in a bad light. The way it's structured, the closer we get to the end, the more everyone is out for themself and if that means making others look ridiculous, that's what they'll do I doubt Jadine would be a match for Kristina or Katie purely on a negotiating basis, but hopefully, we'll see. |

Jadine went up in my estimation this week. She didn't seem to argue and did well on the people management side. Apparently the choice of actors rather than dancers for auditioning wasn't the team's fault; they had to pick from a set of photos without any more info. Taking the charitable donation from the sales price was a big mistake, and all her's, but a forgiveable one.
I think she was a bit lucky in her team and even luckier that Ghazal's team self-destructed, but there's nothing wrong with a bit of luck. |

She seemed to lose heart in the boardroom. I don't think her wobble on the first evening is why she got fired. If Tre had been any good as a leader it wouldn't have mattered at all - he was wrong to put the two people who went to the briefing in the same car. If she'd defended herself with more spirit she'd have stayed.
She did well to get the final order, and especially to hold out for the minimum of 5 items. |

I mean Katie and Tre seriously annoy me but I don't hate them. |
