Where were all the complaints when poor old "arrogant" Seamus was given 'Start Me Up' to strut about and hang himself to? I wouldn't have minded seeing him do Mack The Knife.

I agree, if these cack songs don't stop next week I'm not watching any more - that's a promise .

Which means I ain't buying theatre tickets for me & my family .

Hit him where it hurts - in the wallet!!!!

I think I'm about the only person on this board who didn't have a problem with Seamus. Well, apart from the exit. But at least he got 'Being Alive' to sing one week. THAT'S what we should be seeing on this show - not bloody McFly.

[i] would like to hear more actual showtunes. The McFly choice was probably the worst yet though Daniel managed to perform it excellently.

No, there's me too, and I loved hearing Being Alive. We need more like that.

No, you're not alone.

Anyway, I thought his exit was not only appropriate but also a bit expected. I would have been tempted to do the same.

Being Alive was a great choice.

Mind you I do like some of McFly's songs.

Dear ALW:

Bring on a "Best of John Barrowman" week, where each of the guys gets to pick a showtune JB's covered.

Makes more sense than Meatloaf Week, for crying out loud.

Inspired idea jcello I'd like to see that.

I am almost at the begging stage where poor Craig is concerned. He's had one song less than 30 years old
(feels like it, if I'm wrong, anyway lol)

I didnt have a problem with seamus he was FIT! and talented, I wish he hadnt done that at the end tho , because it just confirmed peoples perception that he was arrogant and I dont think he did himself any favours, but it must be really frustating to be given c**p songs every week

I only found out yesterday that he sung this. Very impressed!

At the risk of being hated... I think someone should do "Sorry's not good enough" by McFly. Not a happy smiley song at all... very actable (yes, I know that's not a word)... I just belted it out whilst driving along the motorway (probably very out of key). And the introduction sounds kinda like rock musical... just my opinion...

I'll let myself out now...

Yeah. Okay.”

yeah maybe we need Sir Alan Sugar to conduct the interviews he would tell it as it is - ' Lee - you are the only one I would part with money to see - the rest of you (with the exception of daniel) best go back to the day jobs!'

can we also ask him to stop making strange facial expressions during the joseph's performances as it makes me feel uncomfortable!

Ask who?
Oh ALW!!!!!!!
Lol!!!!!!!!
I love the start of the programme where they play that music and he makes a fool of himself by attempting to act!
HILARIOUS!

He has the most peculiar facial expressions I've ever seen!
It's impossible to tell what he is thinking - just when you think he must be grimacing in agony, he turns round and says he loves the performance......I'm completely baffled.

very important point! ALW - take note! There are so many fantastic musical numbers - that's what they're being cast for at the end of the day...

True. When I heard him sing at the end I just thought 'ooh, where did that voice come from?' when it's exactly what he should have been judged on from the start. I still don't think he was Joseph but, like the others, would at least have been able to show what he can do.

I totally agree with you. Some of the faces he's pulled made me think damnit he hated that, then he turns around and says oh "you could be Joseph" . His face is more rubbery than Rowan Atkinson

Also agree that if would be fun to have Alan Sugar as a guest judge. No mincing words there! "You cant sing, you cant act, you're a shambles, you're FIRED!!

Can we stop with the rock based group songs please?

So far we have had One Vision, Pinball Wizard and Dead Ringer for Love. Yes, the boys look very nice in their tight pecs enhancing tee shirts, but we saw more of their ability when they performed Luck be a Lady.
