What do we know about the boys themselves? We seem to get more insights into some than others (i.e. Rotherham sights for Rob and Auntie Jean for Lewis?) But some of them are still mystery men......I read on another thread that 2 of the original 12 are gay. I know Daniel is single and not sure about the others. Who knows more?

Knowing more is fine by why on earth should being gay come into it? Surely that is personal and of no matter to the viewing and voting public.

I think Daniel is gay and hoping Rob or Lee are, although i Think they have girlfriends.

I read an interview with all the boys in one of the tabloids, (can't remember which), where Daniel said he is single but is hoping the the show will raise his profile and he will get to meet more girls. I hope that this is not just something that he feels obliged to say in case he alienates anyone, or - even worse- something that he has been advised to say.

Personally, I will vote for him whether he is gay or not so long as he continues to impress me with his singing. Plus, he is quite cute! (Sorry, thought this post was maybe a bit too sensible! )

I can't imagine Rob and Lee being gay - I imagine that Chris is and am not sure about Lewis ...

Having a girlfriend means nothing!! They could just be 'show' girlfriends.

I am not making an issue of it at all - just wanting to know more about them all as I am a big 'Joseph' fan and thought I was amongst other obssessives!

The thing is we are supposed to be voting them in for not only their singing, but also their acting (more please!), their stamina (note the Baricades) and their ability to wow audiences - that is a lot to do with personality. Surely the more girl or boy fans they have the more people will want to go and see them.

Maybe I am alone in this but the little bits we get to see behind the scenes about the boys helps me to know them better and then decide who to vote for (although Lee and Daniel are my favourites usually)

I keep seeing the same blonde girl-friend sitting with their parents after most of the boys sing- now do they all look alike or do i need new glasses To be fair Craig's blonde one is a bit fatter than the rest and don't think i have seen one for Daniel (my gaydar goes off when I see him not that I give a monkeys what orientation he is !)

Talking about gaydar's it has only really gone off for Chris B and Daniel

But I would imagine just by their interest in musical theatre it is quite high unless that has changed. I used to work in the nursing industry and that was the same.

I find it odd that some peeps coming on this site get exasperated when other posters ask questions about their fave celeb's.
For me that is what this site is all about, gossip, innuendo & hopefully a bit of insight into the real lives of these famous so called VIPS/stars .
I go into the showbiz thread so I can hear the gossip about certain celeb's that interest me, that's the reason I'm here - I'm nosey. Yet you get members saying "who cares" & "mind your own business" etc; why are they here if that's how they feel I wonder?
Yes maybe it is sad/pathetic that I & many others are interested in whether Chris/Lewis is gay or whether Lee/Daniel has a wife/partner but it's our perogative to be interested & if the info' is out there I will go looking if it's something I feel I'd like to know .

I don't think Lewis is gay (and no, I'm not just saying that because he's my favourite).

My friend and I were having a conversation earlier about Daniel, and we both agreed that he "bats for the other team", as it were.

Have read this about Daniel on a couple of gay chat rooms.

It certainly wouldn't surprise me if Daniel was gay.

I only heard about Daniel, but Lee's first audition said he had a partner, but yet, i've read her he has a girlfriend. Theatre is always like this, how many years did JB have to keep quiet, its still slightly taboo, even in theatre.
