Supermarket Lcd/plasma - Advice Please!
TIMSTURLA

I am moving house, but letting out my old house. I have a Sony 32" LCD, (KLV-L32M1). (I got it just before the HD frenzy, so it's pre-HD).

I'm thinking of leaving it, and getting a similar size, (or slightly bigger) for my new house.

I've seen 42" plasma at Aldi for £799. It looks like the screen is made by a big manufacturer, so are these any good? Somebody told me that the circuitry, etc isn't so good on these types of products.

I'm a little suprised that the What Hi-fi magazines don't seem to carry any reports/testing on these products...

Any advice you can give would be appreciated...
