another scenario could be that Cain paid someone to off Tom king, perhaps the man who King hired to track Cain down! I remember one of the clues on the emmerdale website was HITMAN.

I agree. I always thought it might be too obvious as you know or feel Rosemary is behind it but would never do the deed herself but get someone else to do it for her like her loyal son. Also his character is a bit of a pointless character so easy to dispose of.

It says on emmerdale episodes that louise is involved in a car crash. 'her life hangs in the balance' Click soaps then emmerdale,
