Is Sir Alan too harsh ?

I think sir Alan is often too critical of many of the decisions made on the programme, after all aren't people supposed to be congratulated for self motivation and ingenuity even if it's not always the best decision to make - as far as I was concerned this programme was to stimulate young entrepeneaurial minds - not to subdue them with negative input.

Incidently - for those wishing to expand their business contacts here is some useful info with bonuses too:

There is a new Business networking site due for launch accepting members now - the first lot of members get extra benefits too, you can see it here: www.ConnectBuzz.com

I suppose you can never have enough contacts or connections can you.

Hope it helps

I don't think he is too harsh. He says it like it is and gives his opinion.

Could you give an example of a contestants "ingenuity" that Sir Alan criticised?

OP,I think you may just be forgetting that it is essentially an entertainment programme.

People may get chewed out for an individual bad decision or mistake but the end result, the firing, seems in most cases to be a justifiable decision so I think he's quite canny enough to see the wider picture and recognise a mistake for what it is, and to see a more well rounded level of incompetence for what it is too.
