I don't think it's changed, it's always had comedy elements. The Phil/Ian feud ends up not to be so funny at the end of it.

However I think humour is good to lighten the tone of some episodes which are rather dark. Lately Corrie's been lacking of humour, yet you can have too much in some of the cases of Emmerdale and it can get to the point you barely take any of it seriously.

alot of people seem to have eastenders down as all doom and gloom which isn't true really but ithink just lately they have added alot more comedy moments

Emmerdale is nothing more than a pantomime, that's why I don't watch it.

There have been some really funny moments. They do have the odd ep where it is really funny - like the one the other week with Max, Kevin and Phil, and the Alfie finding a condom ep - that was hilarious!!

This is a bit offtopic but I've found some of the murder storyline a bit drawn out and farfetched. I just want to see it over.

Quite a few of the other storylines have completely failed to interest me - sharon stuff, Louise and Hari (this is utterly ridiculous), Laurel stuff, infact the only thing I did like which now stopped is the Rosemary and Zak friendship. Only other thing I can distinctly remember liking was the friendship between Jimmy and Scarlet. Carrie however does nothing for me.

Lately I can take it or leave it, the most I could make of today's ep was farfetchedness on Louise's part and rather too many one liners
