That was vicious, it really was!

Was she accusing him of being a boozer or drinking crap wine, therefore a bit of a peasant?

The 'pinot grigio' insult was a different one to the 'go back to his northern chums'. She has an insult ready for every interview clip.

I don't think Pinot Grigio wines are necessarily particularly cheap, though maybe they're not generally right at the top of the wine price range, so I think she was just suggesting that Adam was too fond of the booze.

It was a low blow and not justified, but presumably she thought Adam's bringing up her relationship with Paul was also low and not justified. Especially this week, when Sir Alan (and Ghazal) seemed to agree it hadn't affected her performance.

That was the killer piece for him. Whatever everyone thinks of Katie it was her & Kristina that were the most successful in the negotiations which was the key part of the task. For him to say that her relationship had impacted her peformance was rather stupid as she had done rather well. It sounded petty & underhand. He was resorting to personal issues to save himself which was never going to play well with Sir Alan. It worked for Kristina last week as Paul/Katie relationship definitely did impact the task in France. She is in a totally different class to Adam in terms of business accumen which was so evident in their ability to 'play' this particular issue out in the boardroom!!

Which was the lower blow?

Katie and Paul's relationship did effect their performance.

Though none of them liked Adam they all said when Kristina said what Katie had said that Adam liking a drink had never effected his performance.

With that and her Northern comments I just want to kick my TV screen in whenever she's on it.

Btw her refusing to go and pick up the seeds from Stansted lost them the task.

Not this week. Last week it was an understandable comment, especially as he didn't go as far as Kristina did. This week it was not relevant at all.

We didn't see the refusal. My impression is that it was just a question, as in "Do you think you can go and make it back in time". They said "We're too far to make it back" and that was that.

I don't think any of them understood the rules - if Adam had, he would have either insisted Kate and Kristina go, or else gone himself. As it was, it would have looked like he was giving them an impossible job, which might possibly have got them fired when they failed it. So they very reasonably turned it down.

Personally I put this one down to Adam's bad leadership.
