We have just bought a Philips DVDR3440H
We bought this to replace a VCR, and I will be mostly using it to record programs from Sky+.
It is setup as it should be according to the instruction manual and seems to be working ok, touch wood.
The problem is, i will be recording stuff from Sky+ (putting it on the DVDR's HardDrive) but when i am setting the DVDR up ready to record as soon as i switch Sky+ on it takes over the TV!! I cannot then see menu's on the DVDR and I dont know what i'm doing.
Is there anyway i can set Sky+ to be switched on so that it DOESNT assume control of the TV?
Any other tips on recording stuff using this machine would be gratefully appreciated!!
