yes she did her best to stir it there and cleverly manipulated the truth - Kristina saw through it though and said 'are you talking about what I said?' Katie didn't have the guts to say what she meant, just hinting in that bitchy way she does. And I agree when Sir Alan gave Adam the chance to tell him why he shouldn't get fired - he waffled on instead of saying - because he told the girls to go and get the seeds and they refused and if they had listened - his team would have won. I don't think Sir Alan likes Katie much but he had no choice with Adam.

I was willing Kristina to say that if Sir Allen was so adamant that personal vendettas should be kept out of the boardroom then did he pull Katie up over the Mr Pino and Mr Grigio comment.

Yeah I was disappointed with Kristina at that point but I don't think she was following Katie like the others.
At the end she stood up for Adam and said that Katie had made it personal (which it could be argued she had the week before) in the boardroom so I believe that Kristina will say what she feels about anyone. She doesn't follow the crowd like some others.
I could understand why Sir Alan fired Adam but . . . seriously . . . is Katie the type of person he would want working for him: her body language, facial expressions, tone of voice, verbal exchanges . . . really unpleasant person.

Exactly. When Adam failed to find the seeds, and the other team managed to buy everything, before I knew the outcome, I just felt it had to be curtains for him this time. Kristina and Katie did really well for Stealth to lose by 97p. All Adam had to do was ring up any number of seed merchants one of whom would have put him right, but he just lacked the initiative.

There's this amazing thing called the Internet and they all have WAP phones, Blackberries etc. - why bother phoning round? They could have discovered what nigella seeds were in about two seconds. And the second boot goes to all the Asians for NOT knowing what nigella seeds were!! I just couldn't believe that.
Secondly, although I love Adam to bits, I guess he had to go, however unfair it seemed (and I don't think Katie will last much longer, Sir A has seen her true colours now). As Alan and Margaret said, he was out of his depth (and quite frankly, I think he's relieved to see the back of it!). But he was a prat, lying - it looked so desperate, silly boy! He has had a rough deal from everyone though - what about Beauty and the Beast in the taxi on the way back? I didn't think Ghazal was that bad, but I now think they are all that bad (including Kristina, who reneged on her 'pact' with Adam, just as soon as it suited her to do so).

Hi, re using the Internet, from what I have read here, it was not allowed, phones and yellow pages only. They must be using phones provided and adapted by Amstrad.
Knowing Nigella seeds? I was willing them into a hardware/DIY store for the flower seeds until I learned they had to get 3 kg.
I don't think Tre cooks a lot and Ghazal knew immediately when she heard another name for them. I could not believe they lacked the initiative to look for a food wholesaler in London, yellow pages would have been useful.I was sorry too, to see Adam go but I cannot find any argument in his favour from what we saw this week. I have favoured weak candidates before and they fold in crucial tasks. I wonder if he will take up the job offer with Ultimo?
