Did anyone else detect a hint of racism in the pharmacy? With her fairy-esque, simple, monosyllabic “We’re looking for something close to £4, then we’ll disappear forever…”.
I HOPE YOU DO DISAPPEAR FOREVER DEAR!

I'd have given it to her for nothing if it meant getting rid of her forever.

She was patronising to the guy in the pharmacy, she has also been patronising to Adam, Kristina, Tre and many others - she is just not a very nice person.

Too right. When she called Adam "sweetie" in the boardroom I was just like "who the hell do you think you are?"

I don't think she's prejudiced. She's nasty to one and all equally.

She's only prejudiced against Northeners.

No, No, NO! Not another thread trying to make something racist out of something that wasn't!!

Katie may have been patronizing to the man but there is nothing to say that her motives in doing so were racist...she is patronizing to EVERYONE!!

If you were going to accuse her of being racist..you could say she has something against people from the North but there is NOTHING from the show this evening to show that she was patronizing the man in the pharmacy because of his race!!!

Leave the childish behaviour and accusations to the apprentices...let's be a bit more mature on DS!

Oh heaven help, we are not going to get another load of nut jobs in india burning Katie effigies this time ffs?

Katie is offensive. To just about everyone. Let's just hope she is pulled down a peg or six (and fired) in the next episode.

Nope. They were speaking to an Indian girl from the cash-and-carry over the phone.

I think she really showed her true colours tonight. Being a proud northener myself you could tell from the start of the programme that she didnt like Adam at all.
She has gone down in my estimation big time.
You cannot and should not behave wether in personal life or business life.

I hope Kristina annoys her next week and she loses it again next week then she can get fired.

Katie is naturally patronising because she looks down on anyone she considers is not her equal either socially or intellectually i.e. everybody.
Although she does make some exceptions for certain military types.

Look, I really dislike Katie, but there was no racism in that clip. She was just patronising.

I can't stand Katie, but I didn't see any racism. She was her usual patronising self.

Don't be ridiculous. Tre is of an Asian background, he was just hamming up the accent a bit. No-one moans when black people makes jokes about black people or when jewish people make jokes about jewish people (eg. Borat), as it's considered OK.

In this instance, Tre is from an Asian background, and his own parents may well speak like that. There was no offence intended.

As for Simon, he was just playing along with Tre, I don't think anything was meant.
