I think the right decision was made. Adam is a nice guy and it must've been really difficult for him, but he was so out of his depth in the final task...

I think his only mistake was not giving the half of the list with Nigella seeds on it to Katie and Kristina. Had that happened there's a good chance his team would have won.

If he'd had time to think about it he'd have remembered that Katie was out to bury him at all costs, so when he saw something on that list he knew nothing about it would have been really easy to dump it in her lap.

They got good discounts for all their items, and would have beaten Simon.

I was sorry to see him go - especially before Katie, but thinking about it, he is better of out of it, with all the snobbery going on in that house.

Didnt he look much better too since leaving the house.
Got to admit he looked quite foxy on the you've been fired show on BBC2

Very sad to see Adam get fired, wanted him to be in the final.

Wishing him every success for the future.

Really felt for him.

Yes maybe he wasnt up to it but the way his team basically left him to hang was pathetic.

Also kudos to him for not lowering himself to Superb*tch's level on You're Fired.

It must have been very tempting to unload on her.

Adam wasn't up to it.

But the way the contestants behaved towards him was sooo unprofessional.

According to Adam's interview from MSN Entertainment the Nigella seeds were on K&K's list:

Their refusal to drive to the seed importer that you found probably cost you the task
Yes. They were actually told to buy the seeds first thing in the morning but they couldn’t find any details about them. Meanwhile Ghazal and I went to Brick Lane and I bought a wetsuit for £40 that should have been £220, a pair of leather pants that should have been £110 for £45 and a car battery for £29, so in half an hour I got three of our five items. Katie and Kristina were struggling so we took the seeds back onto our list so they just binned them off. Eventually I found a place round the corner from the studio that sold the seeds and I even gave them directions to get there, but they said they ran out of time.

Personally I find it strange how a lot of peolple, even SAS, have said that he shouldn't have left it til last because from what I saw he tried to find out what it was, saw he was getting nowhere and was wasting time so got the other items and then went back to it.

If Adam and Ghazal got the first 3 items on their list in half an hour, what were they doing for the rest of the day? I like Adam, but I think he's prone to exaggeration. If he found a place just round the corner from the studio, why didn't he go there himself if Kristina and Katie refused?

Admittedly, we only see a small amount of the story, but in the end it was up to Adam as the task manager to make sure all the items on the list were covered.

I don't know what they were doing for the rest of the day but I did see him spending alot of time trying to find out where the seeds were earlier, then having a fair amount of trouble with the designer bin and then going back to the seeds all whilst driving around London, in which getting anywhere can take an 45min to much longer from 8-11am and 3-7pm.

I would think he didn't go there himself because he and Ghazal were at the boardroom first so he probably wanted to make sure at least half of them were on time to hopefully prevent a late penalty. None of them realised it would better to risk or actually be late than to get the seeds.

I know Andyscouser. I'll miss him too. Can't believe the only bit of eye candy is gone and we'll have to watch that half parrott/horse creature condescending everyone.

You know what I'd like?
Adam to do really really well and become a Dragon, then wipe the floor with Katie looking for £200,000 investment
(after he's made her crawl)

I hope the others get onto her ways soon... that'll be the only redeeming thing about this series. Apparently on Jonathan Ross tonight

I almost feel like wearing a black armband today. That was like shooting a puppy

G
felt the same way myself. SAS really gave him a chance and for that SAS' integrity isn't in question. Just hope katie is fired this week, nothing (and I mean nothing) would give me greater pleasure than to see her being grilled by adrian chiles on YF.

yeah me too...seeing her gloating was sooo annoying, but in the end who has really won? People can see Adam is a great guy, whereas Katie is lining herself up to be about as popular as Jade Goody.

The show won't be the same next week though

Who will be most successful in the media after the show?? Niceness never gets anyone anywhere. Adam has gone & will be forgotten by the end of the week. Sad but true.
