Is Craig bisexual then? (Hollyoaks)
Hes always been about "getting girls" and stuff and certainly has been attracted to them, but now he is to have a relationship with John Paul so I guess hes bi?
Okay I guess his sensitive personality could be a quality to suggest hes gay, but I thought the whole idea of being gay was that women didn't turn you on and men did. Its only now that he suddenly isn't interested in Sarah, whereas John Paul was clearly never interested in Hannah. Just wondering cause soaps never seem to have actual bisexual characters, they're usually closet gays. |

Although we're pretty positive he's not gay (but you never know with HO) we've been discussing the possibilty of him being bi or being straight yet still being in love with JP on the "Is John Paul Gay?" & "Craig Dean - Gay?" threads so if you wanna talk about it pop along one of them to discuss.

Oh and I believe this is the first time a SOAP is going to attempt a BISEXUAL storyline! Ok BYE! FOREVER!~~~ |

No I think Craig is bisexual, but he is struggling with his preferences. Does he prefer geezers or women? Especially where lie his deepest feeling: with Sarah or JP. It is really quite normal.
Craig's strong sense of his own conventional masculinity will make him terrified of being gay because he associates that (wrongly) with effeminacy. He has got a long struggle ahead of him and it will be rivetting. Kev |

Craig to me is bisexual, It is possible for him to only realise hes bi now, and not beforehand. I think hes only realised hes bi now, because JP became his best friend.

IMO I don't think Craig is Bi I think he is straight but just got confused about his feelings for JP especially after the kiss. When the feelings were/are acted upon he will be able to make sense of it all and hurt JP in the process.

Can I just make a point, from my own experience. I am a gay man and when I was about 20 (many years ago) I had a huge crush on a straight guy at college, so much so that I told him how I felt. Naturally he was very nervous around me after I told him, but a few weeks later he ended up kissing me. When I asked him why he said he had never even thought about being with another man, but I put the idea in his head so he thought why not try it. That was his one and only 'gay' experience and has been married with kids for years.
Labels like straight, gay or bi are just nice and easy ways for society to keep things simple. Unfortunately people are a little more comlex than that |

I think we're all a little bisexual. I believe we have all difference degrees of it though. From actually acknowledging that some is pretty, to actually doing dares, and then enjoying sex with both sexes. It all depends on the indvidual. I fancy men, however I have snogged women and enjoyed it. Personally thats as far as I go. I just enjoy men more. haha.
