Stanstead Airport is in the Outer Hebrides

Having lived all over the UK, I pretty much no where everywhere is, however Katie's comment whether tongue in cheek or not, doesn't exactly do anything for the image of insular South East where nothing exists beyond Watford and those who have strange images of Northern Britain.

Katie is from the south west, blame where it belongs please.

As a Global Brand Consultant, she does seem rather parochial with her Northern remarks.

Why should she bother to know where it is, it's in the North, sweetie, and therefore not worth knowing...

Much as it sticks in my gut to defend anything to do with Katie, I don't live that far from Stanstead, I'm on the borders of London, but it's still a good 35 - 40 minutes drive on a good day, if Katie and Kristina were in North/central London, plus at the time of day it was, which would have meant tackling the M25, they wouldn't have stood a chance to get there, get the seeds and get back again. If Adam's based in the North and doesn't know London that well, he may not have realised this.

But the whole point SAS made was that they would have incurred a late fine but still got the product and won the task. Katie was trying to stich Adam up even further. Though he would have gone eventually

However, they ALL missed the main point and that was if Katie and Kristina had gone to Stansted they would have won! I thought both of the girls looked very sheepish when SAS pointed that out to them. Regardless of their dislike of Adam I can't believe they wanted to lose the task. If they did then SAS shouldn't employ either of them as they would show themselves not to be good team players.

Personally I think Adam made a mistake in not making that the main attack on Katie, it was clearly shown (though obviously not by Adam) that they didn't want to go as it was 'Kilometres away'. To me that isn't excuse, as for this nonsense about traffic on the M25 - does all the world go around the M25? Do all roads lead to London and not Mecca? No matter where you live in the UK there will be heavy traffic at rush hour (peak times). We deal with it as with anything else, no matter where we live. £50 fine over an £80 fine, which for either of the groups would have added perhaps a couple of hours onto their journey.

It is mainly the snobbish element who believe that civilisation ends at Watford Gap.

So that would be none of them as I am guessing most of that type of people don't actually live in London. Preferring to commute from Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Bedfordshire and perhaps parts north of the Watford Gap. Not bad geographical knowledge for a Scotsman eh?

I thought the same - they would have won if they had got the seeds - all Katie wanted was for Adam to lose - she didn't care about the task - she had just got 'personal' because her loverman had gone last week and she wanted Adam to follow suit. Adam should have played big time on that one - sadly he didn't. Kristina was also at fault here and Adam should have insisted they went to get the seeds, as he was team leader.

Adam did try to suggest that Katie just wanted to make herself look good and he questioned whether she actually wanted to win the task. However, she was in full "You're dull Sweetie" flow and he got shouted down. He looked pretty resigned to his fate by then anyhow.
The bottom line is that much as I loved Adam (and I luuurved Adam ), and much as I hated Katie (and I REALLY hated Katie ), she did do well in the negotiating. Ghazal was his main hope of avoiding the boot.
