as they dont open till 8, thought i would see if anyone else knows here

i am on teh cannonbury exchange and this morning I am getting the Tiscali splash screen come up and the countdown but when it gets to 2 i get the follow message

"Unable to get the file system name"

it does nto go past this point.

any ideas?

You've got a network connection to the Homechoice DSL network but the box can't load it's firmware/middleware from the servers as they may be unavailable.

Wait a few hours and see what happens - it's unlikely the Tiscali are unaware of this.

This morning, I have a similar problem. The tiscali splash screen with the countdown starts. It stays on, '1' for a few minutes and then comes up with a message, 'Cannot decompress file system'.

I tried speaking to Customer Care, but they seem very busy. I guess others have the same problem.

I am going to wait a couple of hours and see what happens...

Same thing.

Couple of reboots and was sorted.
