It seems to be IACGMOOH2 is the first celeb reality show to go without a "comedian", could the last space go to someone funny for a living? No idea who though.

I got a feeling Wayne will provide the comedy element, again, it is gonna suffer from "series 2 syndrome" and be lower down the ratings. I am not mega excited about any of the celebs.

Yeah they are still after two women to enter the show.

I would like to see Jo Brand or Ruby Wax but as they both were in celeb Fame Academy i doubt they will show up.

I honestly think that some of the funniest things to have come out of the last serise were not from the comedians......... They try to prove themselves "sensible" I'm betting on Wayne, Dani and "the cook" to come up with the goodies this time

I hear that the last two women on this are going to be Catalina (who? - the "gorgeous girl" of TFI a few years ago) and Leilani (who? - page three stunna and footballers wife).

Ho hum. Come back Tara and Darren all is forgiven!

I am a bit concerned about some of these reality shows and their exclusion of certain sectors of the public. I have commented to friends that there seems to be a determined effort to exclude black/asian females from these types of shows and hearing that Rustie Lee was rejected just confirms this. The first series of IACGMOOH had none, this looks like having none also. It seems that only BB series are prepared to properly represent the different sectors of society. They include gay, male, female, black, white etc. Survivor did not have ANY black or Asian women and Survivor 2 had only one Asian woman. It seems that when these shows are forced to allow more blacks for example this translates as more black/asian males only please! I cannot fail to notice that Eastenders is the worst example of a soap for this because they seems to have flooded the prog with up to 7 black men at one stage with the token Asian female going off to India (how convenient). Now I hear that a new Asian family is coming to Eastenders this summer and surprise surprise, there will be 5 asian males and just 1 token female. It seems that the female executive producer of Eastenders who incidentally is a white female, does not seem to like black females very much unless they have the role of an old woman (who is killed off quickly) or more recently a baby (who will soon be returned to her mother no doubt). Let's have more females on Soaps and Reality shows please!

Agree completely. We should have a quota system so that all sectors of the community are made to feel included. The same thing should apply to all areas too - we should have full inclusivity in the forums here on D-spy. With you aboard, that appears to take care of the moron quota for a start.

Nice rejoinder hun.

Upon re-reading my original post, I did overstep the line. Sorry.

You are not a moron, and you are fully entitled to your opinion, even if its wrong.

Please don't use any big words though, because my thesaurus is broken.

I would welcome the inclusion of more black or Asian women provided they merited inclusion - ie on the same grounds as any other potential contestant - if they were interesting, amusing, or likable enough. I am glad Rustie Lee was rejected, though - being black and fat and laughing like a fool is not enough really, is it? There are lots of other black/Asian women I would rather see there than her. Mind you, there is no one in the current selection that looks at all promising to me. I can only hope I will be proved wrong.

Agreed. I do not want any Alison types on the show either and I don't like Rustie anyway! There are so many black and Asian actresses, singers, newsreaders, tv presenters that they could choose from but instead they played the boring typical card instead. Instead of actress Daniella Westbrook they could have had Michelle Gayle (they both were on Eastenders at the same time). Instead of model Catalina they could have had Naomi Campbell. Instead of singer Toyah they could have had Beverley Knight. I could go on forever but it is pointless now. As usual I will just have to grin and bear it!

Ignore the bit about Naomi Campbell as I just realised that ITV could NEVER afford Naomi!

Yes, I was just about to say that I agreed with your previous post except that Naomi Campbell and Beverley Knight would never do it.

Isn't that the problem tho, finding people to do it? You have to put yourself up for a lot of public riddicule.

But there are potentially huge benefits

Look at Catalina

None of us had really heard of her two weeks ago. In a weeks time everyone in the country will have heard of her & all the tabloids will have her picture plastered all over the place

It's a bit more difficult to see why someone like AWT would want to do it. I can't imagine that there will be anything but grief in it for him

Perhaps his restaurant isn't doing too well? Who knows? Does seem a strange thing for him to want to get involved with though.

Perhaps they think they might have too much of an advantage in the jungle.
