Why do people need to try to redefine attributes to make Jade slip under their boundaries? We had emzi redefining intelligent the other day, but redefining beautiful?? Sure, you'd climb over Liz and Kylie to get to her!
Is it not possible that Jade really was the person we all saw and commented on in the house? I don't remember many flattering comments on her intelligence and beauty at the time...

Yes...the first couple of days Jade was in the house, this forum had a quite appalingly disgusting thread about Jades looks and manner. As If being born without conventional good looks or having a lack of general knowledge a strong accent and talking a lot was some sort of henious crime.
I was reading the old threads the other day, (I started contributing to BB forum here about 2 or 3 weeks in I think, hadnt seen the start of the threads till then!) quite quite appaling, especialy considering Jade hadnt actually done anything wrong at that point in the show anyway!).
Thank goodness Emzi stuck up for her, the first one I saw who actually defended Jade.

Yeah - Like Rhona Cameron was called "Rhona the Moaner" after one one hour episode in which all she said was she didn't like her t-shirt so much...it collapsed into a week and a half free for all of abuse and criticism in which very few stuck up for her......me being one....that sort of situation.....

No. He only 'whinged' around the time of Weegate, near the beginning of BB3. I don't remember any whinging after that, not from Alex anyway.

That "weegate" was a scandal anyway - who cares if someone pissed in the shower - it would have been washed away anyway !

Well, some people care and some don't. That's hardly the point, though. Up till then BB3 had been deadly dull. It was Alex's reaction in the Weegate affair that stopped viewers switching off in their thousands.

Aye - just like when Nasty Nick got confronted also. Had the viewers flocking back. So did Sandy's sudden departure - I watched BB3live more often after that !
