Virgin do not support GPRS, so you can't use it.

i had my fears they didnt support GPRS...im sure they will in the furture. Or ill use my Vodaphone sim for GPRS, just until i use my credit up. Then i'll give richard branson a call and ask him to get his act together

I'm paying about £2 a megabyte. It drops to £1/MB if you buy a larger amount. This is Orange Contract.

I don't think it's much better, I only get d/l speeds of about 2kb/s

That is bad! I can get 1.1Kbps on GSM! should be getting 4-5K on GPRS!

hmm, but i have a 3510i, max file size is 64kb for a download...
so it doesnt bother me too much then. And it takes anbout 2 minutes to download something of that size, so it isnt too bad...considering they charge 15p per minute(later goes to 5) its not too bad...browsing WAP is also quick.
