He did not seem comfortable at all for most of that

I don't think he's keen on Jonathan Ross, he certainly was less surly than when JR interviewed him last time, though.

They know each other socially - they play tennis together (or at least did before his groin problems). He was never going to go into much detail about individual contestants half way through a series.

He said she was a tough cookie and when JR said she hadn't made many friends in the north he said "I'm not looking for another daughter."

SAS agreed to The Apprentice, he said, in an effort to help those who want to get on in business, e.g. giving tips relevant to the tasks, etc. , He was always adamant it should not become another reality show, which in effect it has, especially as this series has made the jump from BBC2 to BBC1. I think he's a bit uncomfortable with all the celeb surrounding this series. That said, it can't be too outside his comfort zone since recruitment for the next series is already underway.

Thanks. Sounds a bit ominous

Really? I think they will stop in around 3 series time (Series 6 or something) but i would love it to go on forever! The thing is, it is getting more and more like BIG BROTHER every year, (IM NOT COMPLAINING) that by the sixth series everyone will be either gay, promo girls, people with multiple personality disorders and ex-offenders........or all four rolled into one!

I thought he came across a really nice guy, witty and informative.

If he wasn't keen on him, he wouldn't have come back for a second time.

I think SAS enjoyed the interview. He's very witty.

I thought both JR & SAS were enjoying the interview. SAS seems to have lost his hard-man image though & I loved his story of going to the loo in the restaurant!

He seemed like a little teddy bear.

I think his mannerism of puckering up his lips for a second is quite amusing too, and was clearly on show during his appearance with Jonathan Ross.

I thought he was great on the show!Hes a really funny guy outside the Apprentice too. I couldnt stop laughing at his impression of someone who said "You're Fired" to him

It was a good interview and SAS was very much at ease, hence the anecdotes. They're clearly friends too, probably strengthened by the fact that JR's wife is Jewish, (which hadn't occurred to me prior to the programme).

And of course he's funny, he's Jewish isn't he?

Apologies for the stereotyping, but it's meant as a positive and inoffensive one.
