I have just bought a new Panasonic DVD recorder, with Freeview and Hard Drive.
I want to copy from my Hummy as its got some good programmes on it by my DVD recorder is refusing to copy from Hummy, I know its been asked before (so please accept my apologies) but can anyone tell me how to connect the hummy (2 scarts) and my FV hard drive DVD recorder so I can copy from Hummy.
As per normal my apologies and thanks are sent,

I've had no problems recording from my Humax via the scarts, however there is a thread in the Humax forum which may be of interest.

What happens when you try to record?

Normally the Humax would be connected to AV2 of the DVDR and the source set to AV2 (aka L1 or E1 or may be called something else on the Panny).

You say it's a Freeview HD/DVD recorder?, will it actually record off analogue inputs? - or will it only record off digital signals?.

We delivered, and tried to install, a Sony HD/DVD recorder the other year - and couldn't get it to work, or even tune in. Turns out it was ONLY a digital recorder, no analogue tuner, no analogue AV inputs, this wasn't mentioned in the instruction book, the sales leaflets, or in the service manual - and when I rang Sony they didn't know about it either!. I would have expected a BIG label across the box "Digital ONLY", or something like that, but it was keep a total secret!.

Spent most of last night thinking about this, and woke up this morning with the solution (silly billy!!!!) and I just connected it and its working fine now, just read the boards after I had done it, so both apologies and many thanks sent. (I only just realised I had posted it in the wrong place, it should have been the "Hummy" board, but thank again)
