Are we talking about intellectual or emotional intelligence or who had the best education, as the three are quite different!?

Oh, you read minds now? I was going to post something short about Tim/Alex/Kate/PJ/Adele and their advantageous education and if it benefitted them in any way in BB3. But...

....Jade doean't score high marks on any of them.....
”

Your unfailing ability to drag your intense hatred of Jade into any DS:BB discussion has prompted me to type this instead as a reply:

a) Talking of intelligence, there is an 's' in 'doesn't'.

b) As someone who nursed her sick housemates though their alcoholic poisoning and mopped up their vomit despite the way they had treated her, and due to the fact that she had the ability to solve her conflicts despite being used as house whipping-girl, Jade was by far the most emotionally intelligent housemate in BB3.

Watching the short clips of BB3 during The Baftas last night reminded me of that.

So Kate went to an all-girls school, Tim was a boarder, Alex went to private school and PJ to law school etc etc. None of them came across as intellectual giants. What a waste of money!

So the answer to the question IMHO? None of them.

Nice reply Emzi, gotta keep Mes in his place I think!
I'm looking forward to the next object(s) of his unique venom. I'll support them just because of that.

Just as long as he doesn't turn on me! But you wouldn't would you Mes???

Alex and Kate - most intelligent but thwarted by emotion and Jonny the jackass!!
Must mention Tim - Dimmest!

Have you all forgotten Anna?

I always thought Dean thought he was far more intelligent than he actually was.

Poor.

They never treated her poorly... They played a few jokes on her which allowed her to be exactly what she wanted - Centre of attention.

If you want to see someone treating someone poorly - watch how Jade (the girl who hilariously said "I don't like lying and I don't like bullies") treated Sophie. A girl she treated that way simply because liked black men.

As for mopping up other peoples vomit... That's about all she's good for.

You're deluded.

"House whipping-girl" hahahahaha!

Next to Jade, they all did.

Are you sure about that? I can't remember this. Jade's father is a black man or mixed race, isn't he?

Yep, still have it on tape somewhere... The night Sandy announced he was leaving, she got drunk and cried her eyes out, and was talking to Johnny, who was up for eviction against Lee... She went on about how much she hated Lee, and how sorry she was for nominating Johnny, and then said she hated Lee, and hated the way Sophie "Throws herself at black men". She hated them both!

This was never shown on the 10 PM show, and I was amazed it wasn't edited out on the live feed.

I give Alex, Johnny and Kate all the credit in the world for being as restrained as they were with her. Had I been living in that house I would have snapped a long time before any of them did.

Oooooooh!!! That was a typo and you know it But I forgive you...I'm intelligent enough to realise I've overstepped the mark......(although one case of clearing up vomit does not a warm hearted caring person make).......

And......I don't bring Jade into every thread...just most of them...I'd feel more guilty if Sandy didn't recieve a similar roasting whenever his name gets mentioned....it just happens that media harlot Jade is known to be discussed more often.....

Jade may just as well have meant she disliked Sophie throwing herself at black men;
it's very likely Jade viewed it as because the men are black as opposed to who they are as people first.
This is feasable because she has a father from black roots and would have her own deeply entrenched and positively sympathetic/protective views on the subject.

Nah, I think she meant it like a lot of people tend to... I don't think she is racist actually - she wouldn't have the friendship she almost had with Adele if she was... She's just someone who finds every reason possible to dislike someone, and that was one of the warped reasons she used. She's just a very ignorant person.

There's nothing deep about Jade. Apart from how far she can put her fist down her own gob.

Gazza, you're metamorphing into Mes!
Whenever I see Jade's Mum, I have to make allowances- although she's gone down in my estimation since she got preggers after such a short relationship. She had a real chance of a fresh start, but statistics are not on her side. I forsee a split not long after the sprog arrives, though I'd love to be wrong.

I'm not really that malicious though....I just tend to react whenever people overplay Jade's cards....I should have known a thread asking who were the most intelligent housemates would have got someone insisting that Jade was incredibly bright..........Come on...'Sparagus..where is East Anglia, is it in Tunisia?...I don't know tictacs...- I know it's not quite like "I like blinking me" but it's not the clearest sign she's the sharpest stick in the box......

People seem to be posing it as an alternative that she is either thick or uneducated

She could, of course, be both

I agree with Mesos here.

I do so despite the fact that I am a huge Jade fan......I love the girl, she has her moments (she can be very perceptive on occasions & her intuition often serves her well) but, please folks, intellectual heavy weight she is not!!!!

You know me Mes, give me an inch and I'll take a mile!!
I'n stil the typo quean arounf hear!

Steering it back onto topic a little, are those who are better educated at an advantage when it comes to task that involve general knowledge or specific sports activities?

I don't know why but the whole 'Nasty Nick' "I was in the SAS" has just popped into my head. What if someone actually HAD that sort of training? Would that make certain physical tasks tasks unfair?

The dreaded Assault Course was missing from BB3 - for two reasons. Jonny, as a fireman would/should be very apt at climbing ladders, shuffling along poles etc....and have an unfair advantage and given that assault courses include nets and tubes, the experience may have been humiliating for Alison (this is not a fat issue, I'm being realistic).

As for the Jade/black issue - she did say that "throws herself at black guys" about Sophie, knowing that she herself is part black. Jade even went on to explain that she tells boyfriends that if she should get pregnant, the baby may be black because of her Jamaican roots. I think it was just another bit of pointless ammunition for Jade to fire as Sophie.

Was it Adele that said that Alison 'didn't act black enough' or was it the other way round?
