Steering it back onto topic a little, are those who are better educated at an advantage when it comes to task that involve general knowledge or specific sports activities?

I don't know why but the whole 'Nasty Nick' "I was in the SAS" has just popped into my head. What if someone actually HAD that sort of training? Would that make certain physical tasks tasks unfair?

The dreaded Assault Course was missing from BB3 - for two reasons. Jonny, as a fireman would/should be very apt at climbing ladders, shuffling along poles etc....and have an unfair advantage and given that assault courses include nets and tubes, the experience may have been humiliating for Alison (this is not a fat issue, I'm being realistic).

That's a good point Emzi..........A curious thing about Nick is that everyone around him utterly believed everything he said....watching Craig nodding along as Nick spun him a web of lies....it takes brains to lie convincingly for a period of time...It was naive at the time to underestimate public reaction to it, not that it ever came to it...but for a long time he made utter fools of his housemates.....the only other one with the intelligence to work him out was Mel, but even after he went she said she wanted him back......

Alex said he hated his 3 years at Private school. According to him it was the worse thing he and his parents ever did.

He also said that his education didn't start until he left school.

It's nice to know that you think so highly of his intelligence. But I think he would modestly acknowledge that 'vast' would be a slight exaggeration.

PS. Why am I bothering????

You can't expect everyone to be your intellectual equal, Mr 3001 (or may I call you stupid?).
