In the workplace people are too busy bullying anyone older and/or female who has ideas above her station to be bothered with bullying ethnic minorities

Just to clarify, he doesn't say at any stage that he was bullied worse than Shilpa AT ALL. .
It's a bit of a daft comment IMHO, considering what Shilpa actually went through. But I think what really got to Adam, and here I can't blame him, is seeing (for the first time remember) all the recorded comments once he exited the show. That must have hurt. |

Sounds like a line fed to him by a News of the World journo so they could get the headline they wanted. Why would he even think about Shilpa?

I was discussing Adam. Adam compared himself to her. I have no wish to discuss Ms Shetty here or anywhere else.

Sorry Muttley. This is what I read ""Compared to what I went through, Shilpa had it easy. All she had to do was sit around in a house. On top of everything else, I was trying to get a job."
. Yes, but he doesn't say he was BULLIED worse than her, does he? Nope. In fact the word bullied is not used at all. While I think it was badly worded, what he was essentially saying was that he had to endure working long, stressful hours as well as being disliked by many of the other candidates. Shilpa was treated badly by some of the HM's but was not doing stressful work in addition to that. He doesn't say he was TREATED worse than her, but that he had ADDITIONAL pressures that she didn't have. And on that point he is correct. |

Neither Shilpa or Adam were bullied, except were being backstabbed.

If you ask me Katie and his so-called bad treatment was the best thing to happen to him. It overshadowed the fact that he was actually quite a dislikable person at times with rather nasty practices himself.
I mean he told tales, always quick to blame others for his own errors showing little or no honour or loyalty to anyone. I mean for example his first project leader task, his idea of team support was to belittle people and sell them out when things went bad. Like when that fellow pointed out they couldn't use 'natural' for their lollys he lumped the blame for everything on Natalie, which while she was to blame and wrong for not following his orders in regards to the name of the lolly on the label he conveniently forgot that he hadn't seemed to find this an issue for the best part of a day or two and had quite happily had her go out sorting posters and whatnot advertising they were 'natural'. He proceeded to have a temper tantrum, quite selfishly making Natalie feel bad about herself while playing the victim himself. He also lied to get Ghazel in trouble and himself out of it and twisted the whole Katie and Paul thing for his own advantage. While I may not agree with his 'bullying' or 'treatment' or whatever he wants to call it I can understand why his fellow competitors didn't like him much because from what I was watching he wasn't this 'nice lad' people profess he was. He just caught the scorn of someone even more 'evil'. |

Working long stressful hours - being disliked by some of your colleagues? Sounds like a typical day to me - and I'm not competing for a £100k job just doing an average job for an average salary ...
