Can I add audio delay with the Panasonic SC-HT15
Hello,
I have an LCD and am considering buying a Panasonic Sc-HT15. I currently have my TV connected to my Hifi via audio connections and expirence a lip sync problem. I have done some investigation into this and the problem is that my TV takes some time to process the picture, this is not a problem using internal speakers as the internal audio is also delayed. If I purchase I Panasonic SC-HT15 does this have the facility to delay the audio so that will not suffer lip sync problems. Many thanks Jon. |

I have looked at the manual for the SCH-T15 on the internet and it appears I can add delay to the center, right surround, left surround and sub woffer
http://panasonic.com.au/content/libr...es/F001478.pdf page 22. Can I also add delay the to left and right front speakers? Will this fix my lip sync problem? Many thanks Jon. |

Be careful; I dont know that amp but it sounds like you have discovered a feature to just change the surround effect by delaying signal to some speakers. It does not sound like it is intended to deal with lip synch problems bu delaying all the speakers at once by the same amount.
I know some Yamaha amps (I have one ) have a lip synch delay which delays all the channels; such features are in addition to what I suspect you have found. Hopefully someone with the model you are considering can help more. |
