I'm creased laughing thinking of what the dreaded Michael Ball fan club would do to Keith if he dared attempt "Love Changes Everything." As an ex Ballette, I can tell you those women are lethal!

I don't know if it's the right song for him, but I would love to hear Lee singing "Hallelujah" - the one they used on the soundtrack from "Shrek". I can imagine his expressions on lines like:

"It's not a cry that you hear at night,
It's not somebody who's seen the light,
It's a cold and it's a lonely Hallelujah."
Mmm...

If you want to hear an absolutely awesome version of Cohen's Hallelujah go to You tube and search for Alistair Griffin, it will have the hairs on at the back of your neck standing to attention, it really is beautiful.

Would love to hear Daniel sing Bui Doi (sp?) from Miss Saigon.

I think he would give it the emotion it deserves.

I think Mr Mead and Mr Boys should sing

Anything you can do I can do better.

That would be a hoot!

Bring Him Home from Les Miz for Lee.

Lee - would suit 'Too Much Heaven On Their Minds' sung by Judas from Jesus Christ Superstar. He has such subtlety in his facial expressions and this song goes from care to desperation and then to anger. He would be brilliant!

Daniel - I would like to hear him sing the theme song from 'Sunset Boulevard'. Very difficult song, very wordy but if he could carry it off it would be fantastic. Mr Barrowman would be watching intently as from what I remember, he played the part on the London stage.

Ben - Simon Apostle song from JC Superstar

Keith - I am Sixteen from 'Sound of Music'. He would make a good Rolf.

Lewis - any song from Rusty from Starlight Express

Craig - I could actually see him in Les Mis but I am not sure which part.

Great suggestion for Daniel; it's a fantastic song. And yes, I think you're right, JB did play that part.

Oh yes - that's a good one for him.

I did think of the song from Chess that the Russian sings ... name of song escapes me but I'm working on it ... anyway I think Daniel would be great singing that.

None of you will probably know what on earth I'm going on about

I am sorry but no-one sings "Hallelujah" like Rufus Wainwright who did the Shrek version.

Not even Lee

*cough* JEFF BUCKLEY *cough*

NoahsAark - do you mean "Bless The Child"? I adore that song. I hate Chess, but between that and "Anthem" they have some pretty good songs for male voices! Daniel would be great singing that.

Giving "Bring Him Home" to anyone would be cruel, I think. None of them quite have the range for it, that song's nigh on impossible to get right - and sounds horrific if done badly!

Yes - that's the one .... couldn't for the life of me think what it was called ... it's a beautiful song isn't it.

I know a lot of posters aren't keen on the Josephs singing pop songs but i like it. I find i'm better able to judge them.

So, I'd like Daniel to sing Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars and I'd like to see Lee do Take That's Shine.

I'd like to see Keith do a swing number.

Not sure bout the others

Other way round for me, think Lee would do chasing cars better, daniel i'd like to do an upbeat song.

I'd like to see Lee do something more upbeat - he seems to have had a series of ballads. But I think they would both do a great job of either song.

Ballads show off his really good acting abilities more than upbeat would, think thats why he's been given ballads.

Probably! But everyone else has had a range of styles so should Lee. And it would show ballads are not all he can do!

yes I have already mentioned on here somewhere that I can see Lee doing Chasing cars or a Coldplay song - can't see Daniel doing that - personally I wasn't keen on Daniel doing 'you give me something' because I love that song and James Morrison does it better - but I liked his Maggie May - whereas with Lee - I hated 'bad day' until he sang it - now I look at it in a different light. Daniel is better at the upbeat numbers. Lee is better at the brooding stuff.
