Lee or Keith.

I find it hard to dislike Keith as he is my equally obsessed Joseph friend's favourite, and we seem to talk about him a lot when we are discussing the programme. So I would have to say Lee; I think he acts as though as though he has an advantage on the others because he has understudied in Phantom, and is already an 'established' actor. It may be true, but there's no need to be so blase about it. Daniel's in the same situation, but you wouldn't know it from what you see of him.

If by "blasé" you mean "mature enough to show control rather than bursting into tears when things don't go your way," then maybe you're right.

Too right. Enough with the tears. I want Ben out because of his arrogance and fist pumping... but Keith is really starting to grate with the sobbing.

Keith - his voice is ok, but he just looks like a 12 year old

But Lee admitted himself that he did cry and threaten to leave when he was criticised last week - OK he was sensible enough not to do it in public but it has made me wonder, talented tho' he is, whether he is strong enough mentally for the role.

No he did admit that he did cry, nothing at all was mentioned about threatening to leave and according to people close to Lee on another forum that never happened anyway just a made up story in the press.

the fact is though, unlike many of those on the show who have had knock backs (except Ben and maybe Craig) he came back this week, and bounced back, he didn't let the comments affect his performance and that is what counts, he can cry all he likes in private.

I have no impression at all that Lee thinks he has an advantage, I think I recall him saying himself that he was so worried that it would count against him.

Anyway, my least favourite Joseph is Craig and I hope he goes next week.

Sorry to go on about this , but he said himself on air that he thought about leaving.

I personally thought that the comments that were made about him by Zoe were very unfair, but was still surprised by his reaction.

no way is he arrogant - where did you get that from? I would say Ben is the most arrogant and the least favourite for me. Ben was the one who said ALW didn't know what he was talking about???? Lee didn't say that.

I don't think any of them sound particularly arrogant.

His whole attitude towards everything, I think he believes he is better than the other guys there. I also think he's pretty much expecting to be in the final, if not to go all the way and win it. That's just how he comes across to me though.
I know Ben made that comment, and I do think he's becoming slightly cocky and he was picked up on that this week. However, I think that's as a result due to him being one of the least favourites to him getting better each week (according to the judges and the public keeping him safe).

so Lee is arrogant even though there has been no evidence of it (confidence and proffesionalism yes but not real arrogance) but faced with real evidence of Ben's arrogance (i.e 'ALW doesn't know what he's talking about') it's merely because he is improving... interesting. The fact is saying the one of the most influencial people in the industry 'doesn't know what he is talking about' is arrogance beyond belief, as well as incredibly stupid Lee's arrogance (real or otherwise) surely pales in comparison. Even Seamus didn't critisise the Lord!

Thinking about leaving and threatening to leave are two entirely different matters. I'd be shocked if Daniel doesn't feel the same way after the entirely unfair comments he got from Zoe himself.

Why compare him to Ben? I merely stated my opinion on why Lee is my least favourite. I haven't warmed to him from the very beginning, and IMO, I think he is arrogant. Don't get me wrong, I can clearly see that he's a favourite on here, but he is just my least favourite of them all.
As for Ben (even though I don't see the significance of talking about him at all on this matter), I simply suggested that his attitude has changed more recently probably due to him appearing to get more popular with the judges and the public. I think it's a case of him being over-confident. However, as he was blatently picked up on it on Saturday on live TV, I doubt he'll act that way again.

If ANY of them don't believe they are good enough to win this, then they shouldn't be there. You need to be confident in yourself. And if I counted the number of times that I've got such a kicking professionally and been reduced to tears in the privacy of my home, well, let's just say I'd rather not go there. As long as you hold it together and be a pro when you're working, what goes on at 10pm at night when you kick the wall in frustration and have a little cry is no big deal. Anyone claiming to have never done this is either a)lying or b)never been put in a position where the stakes are bloody high.

I'm comparing them because in the post you talked about Lee's arrogance (which really is just based on a gut-feeling) and then said that Ben wasn't arrogant faced with hard evidence of it. As i said saying ALW doesn't know what he is talking about is by far the most arrogant thing any of the contestants have said (including Seamus' 'Show of my own').

And overconfidence is a synonym of arrogance

Also I've just realised that my posts might come across a bit attacking, not intended, it's just late and I have a lot of coursework to do (so naturally i'm procrastinating on a forum instead! )

I only spoke about Ben in response to someone else who mentioned his name in comparison to Lee. I do like Ben, but I'm sure he'll go in the next couple of weeks due to the high level of competition he's facing. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the comment Ben made wasn't extremely arrogant and uncalled for because of course it was. However, for me personally, I've always found Lee to be arrogant. It has nothing to do with me picking faults with him for the sake of it as mentioned in other threads on here, it's just how he comes across to me.
LOL, don't get me started on Seamus!

No worries, lol. I'm new to posting on this forum, however that doesn't mean I haven't been reading the threads for a while now. As I said before, just because I don't like Lee doesn't mean that I can't see he's a favourite to go all the way.

I guess we will just have to agree to disagree, re Lee. Personally I don't see it at all but there you go. I understand where you are getting at though, I personally never really liked Connie Fisher, but recognised she was very capable for the part, I guess thats one of the problems about casting the show on reality TV though.

Also the reason why i said the thing about attacking, is that I know that there are a lot of Lee fans here, and it might feel to non-Lee fans they are being pushed out. Call me an ole softy but everyone should be able to give their opinions... no matter how wrong they are
