How he is still here over Seamus I don't know.”

He is still in over Seamus because on the sing off he pulled every stop out. The audience were captivate dand so were the panel. ALW had no choice.

Of course on the other hand he could have been voticing tactically as he knows Ben probably will not win but Seamus might and he didn't think he was right for the part

Well I am new here ,but some seem to have my thoughts...what gets me Is the way Ben reacts when he is still In ..to the others more casual walk off ..he is good looking ..but no way a Joseph.
Keith..hmm don't care for him ..I couldnt sit through a show with a kid who looks even younger than his age..as Joseph.
I mean isnt a woman supposed to lust after him ..Lee would settle the Lust thing much better

I know that Daniel is the oldest guy left in the competition, but to my mind Lee looks older. I think it must be the rather middle-aged perm, and the way all the veins in his neck stand out when he sings. Daniel has a more boyish face.

They are both very talented though!

Time for Ben to go.

He's just so arrogant and seems to be getting worse.

I have insider knowledge from someone that works on the show that yes last week he was indeed very arrogant and her words 'was a pain in the butt but thankfully back to his old self again' but she did say that Danel can be extremely arrogant at times

I don't think it's very fair to put anonymous "insider" knowledge on this thread - unless you've actually heard something yourself it's fairly meaningless.

Twingle isn't making it up, I have also seen on another forum someone who apparently works on the show saying that Daniel can be hard to work with, but he was nice this week and that Ben was a twerp this weeks but was lovely at the beginning, I'm not paying any attention to it though because it seems quite unproffesional if you ask me, bitching about people you work with on a forum.

I quite agree with you. I know that this particular thread is to have a good bitch but I actually know Ben and have done for years. He is a very honest person and shows what he is feeling, which I think is sometimes being misread by the public - I think the other boys are just able to hide their true feelings a little better. Yes he has come across as being arrogant but we all have to remember that this is showbusiness, and everyone who performs has to be arrogant, and think that they are good enough, otherwise no one would ever audition for things. Also, they have to make a television programme that people are going to tune into so just remember that you are being shown what the BBC want you to see!

How do we know it *is* actually a perm and he doesn't just have naturally curly hair? (serious question) I know a few people whose hair looks straight when it's short but grows long curly.

I've already posted somewhere on one of the threads that to me at least, the curls might be there to hide a receeding hair line. When he's performing and the front curls move there sometimes seems to be quite a lot of forehead underneath!

I would say that it is a perm.

I can see that Ben has potential, but I think he is still quite raw in some ways. I worry that, should he win, he might become rather over confident about his abilities and therefore could blow it. I don't just mean stagewise, he might possibly start 'living the dream' in his personal life a bit too much, as has been the case with other young guys suddenly thrust into the limelight.

I think "over confident" is an understatement!

Let's just say that you know people in the audience that were not captivated by Ben and I know people who were. I can understand where you are coming from when you liked Seamus but hopefully when Ben is knocked out which sadly I think he will be I shall be thankful he has had such tremendous exposure at a young age and will go on to lots of great stuff.

By the way. I thought Seamus had an amazing voice and talent but just could not see him as Joseph. I feel the same about Daniel

Keith is my least favourite at the moment - not because he can't sing ... but because he hasn't shown any charisma with his acting.

It's up to Keith to change my mind on that one.

I am with you there Noah, not only has he showed no Charisma, no stage presence, he has shown absolutely no acting skills either in singing or any of the tasks, I donot deny he has a beautiful voice but he has nothing else.
