Hang on a minute, that's a bit of a leap there. I'd like to know who wins the apprentice but it doesn't mean I want to commit suicide. It's a TV show ffs.
completely agree!!

i think xboxcraig has stretched it a bit to far beyond sensibility!

just like YOU can't stop posting them. What joy do you get, from regurgitating information that someone could just as easily find themselves, if they so wished?

Why don't you spend your valuable DS time constructively?

Once the show has aired, surely it's fair game to discuss that particular show in detail on the forum. If i didn't want to know what had happened, I'd wait to watch the show before coming onto an Apprentice forum. Is it really that hard to stay out of the forum for a day or two until you've caught up.

Does anyone agree that this thread is pretty pointless?. If you don't want to know what happens, then don't click and reveal what is under the spoiler tabs.
It's hardly our fault if you have difficulties giving into temptation

it's not pointless. I've just read another thread, where jazz joe not only dropped a spoiler without tags, but then instigated a spoiler-based conversation, consisting of several posters speculating, using spoilers.

The thread wasn't marked...but the point is, even though a lot of things are tagged, it affects what people 'speculate', as they already know things...and they don't realise what they're revealing with their posts.

WHY do spoilers need to be dropped into 'Predictions for Week 9?'

Give me ONE good reason! It becomes a 'well, this is what MIGHT happen next week...but what really happens is this: And here is what happens for the rest of the series, too.'

I know I can't control what you write, if I could, I wouldn't need to start this thread...

As for the 'end of' 'bottom line' and 'finished' comments...I don't know what authority you think you have to end the discussion!

All I ask is that you keep spoilers out of non-spoiler threads. To anyone else, this would be common sense. What exactly is the big issue??

Remember those kids you used to be at school with that couldn't keep secrets or were compulsive liars or were always bragging and boasting?

Well it's a similar thing with a lot of spoiler posters. A need to feel wanted, a bigger need for attention and a reason to not feel so worthless.

Oh dear. Another arm chair psychologist. I could come up with an elaborate description for people who keep looking at spoilers then complaining they didn't want to read them. But I won't.

I can assure you there were no armchairs in the room when I was studying psychology. Bloody wish there had been.

Go on, give us your elaborate description, I'll give you some words to work with. Wavering, power, weak, yield, stregnth.

What you have to remember this thread isn't so much about people who read spoilers and then complain, it's about spoilers being dropped into non spoiler threads and even if in spoilers tags people responding to them and more or less telling you what the spoiler's about

What you've got to remember is that the forum isn't compulsory. And some people like speculation, which incidentally is all it is seeing as no one really knows anything.

I know it isn't compulsory but it would be nice to read a non spoiler thread and not get spoilers.

Speculation is fine, when that's all it is.

If a thread is marked *may contain spoilers* then I won't go in there just in case they haven't put the spoilers in spoiler tags.

What has annoyed me is that there was a thread that didn't warn of spoilers but the OP was however very careful to put their spoiler information in a tag. Jazz_joe then went in there, read the spoiler in the tag and then took it upon themself to give away the gender of the apparent winner without any concern for anyone else. That is so selfish IMO.

This is the problem with this show. It is filmed 5 months in advance, and so when candidates names are revealed int he press prior to its launch, they are given interviews which give the game away, as well as lots of press speculation which is likely to be true.

Spoiler

You come across as childish and attention seeking, deliberately spoiling things for other people.

The Apprentice thrives on viewers not knowing what's going to happen, yet you think it's funny to spoil that enjoyment.

People get banned on DS for very trivial and silly things, yet people like you seem to go unpunished. It doesn't make sense.

I will contact the mods if you continue with your disruptive behaviour. Grow up.

er, no I don't think I did, did I? Read my post properly.

I used to know a bloke like you who used to take pleasure in ruining shows for people like Lost etc. I've never really understood the mentality of that.
