Oh for goodness sake, I'm starting to find it a tad disturbing that there is such vehemence about a bit of random speculation. The programme isn't shown in real time you know. It's a reality show not the OFI and this is the internet in 2007 not the USSR circa 1960. Get over it. And here's an idea, why not ditch the personal attacks at the same time.

uhh...that's not true. One spoiler that I came across unwillingly was that Ghazal was to be fired in the upcoming episode. Guess what? She was! Ruined it for me.

If it were speculation, it wouldn't be a problem! I don't have a problem with someone saying something like 'Oh, I think Jadine's going to get fired tonight'...but when it's something like 'We already know Jadine is going tonight...', it becomes entirely different.

It's the difference between fact and opinion. Spoiler and speculation.

bigbrothers new thread with a spoiler in the title is out of order. Fair enough if its in the thread, but in the title is a poor show.

But it is just speculation. Have you not noticed that most of what is written turns out to be false. The only time something has been true is when the official site revealed it before the programme had been shown (the Ghazal episode I think) and you can hardly blame anyone for posting what has already been on the official site.

But what is really confusing me is, even if you did know the result before the end of the show why would it matter? It's not like the show is going to change.

No, because I choose not to read all the spoiler stuff, where I can. Whatever I have been unfortunate enough to stumble across has been true.

As for your last comment, of course it's going to change! The fun of the show for a lot of people is wondering who will get fired, who will get hired...whether someone will slip up etc. and it's tense, too!

Why would I bother watching at all if I knew the show's exact finishing order?

The essence of the show is its surprise element. I came on here to talk about Jadine getting fired only to see bigbrothers thread with what looked like a spoiler in it.

another spoiler subtly dropped in this thread:

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/s...d.php?t=576743

no spoiler tags either, but indicates the gender of the winner is.

What is WRONG with this forum??

Surely the name SPOILER itself, is a good indication of what it is...

I think there should just be one big thread for spoilers and be done with it. I stopped looking at other threads that weren't clearly asking opinion on previous events because of the nonsense spoiler dropping.

Of course but my gripe is spoilers in thread titles.

I agree with you.

I made that comment in referance to the person who suggested that spoilers shouldn't matter to your enjoyment of the show. By it's very definition - spoilers spoil things!
