Yeah I know what your saying about the seamus ben sing-off I had actually changed the channel and was watching the Grease results as I thought that Ben was gone with no chance of staying in against Seamus but theres no way ALW will vote against one of the strongest two guys in the competition.

That would be a terrible thing.

I hope so. But I keep thinking of the Aoife situation last year (I think I must mention this every other post  hee). Even though Aoife was clearly more suitable for the part (which ALW agreed with, as he cast her to do 2 of Connie's shows), he chose to save Siobhan. As we get closer to the end, I would not be surprised to see ALW vote tactically, to ensure that his favourite has little competition so that they can win the part.

that would be the worst scenario - especially if he then chose Dan over Lee

I think if it was Dan and Lee in the bottom 2, then he would choose Lee over Daniel, remember back to week 2 when Daniel wouldn't take on board ALW's suggestion about how to sing the song. ALW would not see that as a particularly good trait in a lead performer (even though I think Daniel is great)

Having said that, neither will be in the bottom 2, if my wish comes true, Ben and Craig will be bottom and hopefully Lewis will be safe for another week.

But that all happened way after the TV show finished. At the time, I thought it was the right decision - although Siobhan didn't really seem right for the part, Aoife just didn't seem like a good enough singer, having given several weak performances.

I really think it's about time Ben or Lewis went. It's obvious they are not good enough (yet) for a leading role.

If the polls on this forum are in any way representative of the GBP's votes then Lee, Daniel and Keith have the lion's share of the votes between them. This leaves Ben, Craig and Lewis fighting over what's left. It wouldn't take much of a voting swing to totally change the 'bottom two' result. I guess that means it will really come down to song choice and performance on the night. Given that ALW has saved all of them at least once, I have NO idea who he would pick...

Posters on forums are definitely not "typical" of the voters and even the leaders can never feel too over confident.

Glad the The Lord resisted the request from the BBC to extend it a further week just for the great ratings. JOSEPH needs time to get into the part and get over all the publicity of success.

I think Ben should go - just because he is a little weaker than any of the others.....but who knowns anything can happen on the night!

I have a really bad feeling for Daniel this Satuday, really do hope that I am proved wrong.

Maybe it's because I'm going out and won't be able to vote.

At this stage of the game I really do feel, as another poster has already said, that it will all be down to the individual performances on the night.

I know that there are big fan bases for Lee and Daniel but I'm sure equally there are voters out in tv land that do watch the show as entertainment and vote on the singer they prefer on the given night. There's no room for anyone to be complacent, just one dodgy performance could do it.

I do believe that Lewis has more or less run his course in the competition personally, therefore I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him in the bottom 2. The other person is just a ? for me at present.

yes that is why I get so put out if they give the front runners bad songs and the not so good ones better songs (I accept this is just my opinion) but - sorry to bore everyone again by saying what I have said several times before - this week and in the continuing weeks - they need songs that show their potential and an even board - not some being giving obviously unsuitable songs while others are given an easy ride.

Just had a cunning plan! If no one votes for anyone ever again the show could go on for years!!

Don't really mind who goes as long as its not Lee or Daniel.

We could see what colour of orange Ben's face could reach. He should just put on a pair of american tan tights on his head and have done.

Final now June 9th instead of June 2nd!!

As, Harry Hill would say "There's only one way to find out, FIGHT!" And I suggest in loincloths in Jelly for Daniel & Lee
