You must find it difficult to understand comedy if you can't see that her pieces to camera are essentially her putting on a performance. For your info she really doesn't want to kill Adam.
How do YOU know this?

I tend to agree that it's Katie's attempt at humour and I'm sure that a lot of her "Upper Middle Class Chums" would find her comments hilarious. When she said about Adam's many deaths it reminded me of when I was in similar company and was chided for not finding such comments about another person amusing.

I think we all appreciate that Katie's comments were not designed to encourage anyone out here to rush off and run Adam over - but her manner and demeanour haven't endeared her to some viewers.

If she's prepared to make those kind of statements to camera, she needs to understand the possible repercussions. She isn't relying on a public vote to keep her in the competition, so maybe she doesn't care

However, if she is using The Apprentice as a platform to further her future career, she maybe should have considered the impression she is creating in 'the real world'. She undoubtedly is very skilled in some areas of business, but many employers would consider her just too unpleasant to handle, or deal with if she ran her own company.

Her face is rather equine but that has nothing to do with class. Wednesday, while my Dutch in-laws visited, we watched the Apprentice. My Dutch father-in-law (who barely speaks English) walked into the room and screamed "wat een paardenbek" (horseface). When Jadine’s face appeared, he started making duck sounds and kept asking me why doesn't she do something about her hair (as if I would know).

The fact that she calmly stated that she wished bodily harm to someone (DEATH) turned me off to her. She's vile and does resemble a horse (it's the nose).
She doesn't resemble a horse, and the "horse"-related comments aren't only about how she looks in any case.

I wonder if this "horse" confusion is because she does have a passing resmeblence to Princess Anne who is famous for her association with horses?

True, but then some people have obviously never seen a horse.

Of course, such comments are not only about how she looks.

Katie seems to forget that she is in a job interview and that you never know what is going to get back to the interviewers. Her own circle of chums might find laughing at Northerners/ the overly tanned hilarous. It's obvious that she percevies herslf to be the superior candidate. But the Apprentice is going to need to work for all sorts of people from all sorts of backgrounds - does she have this ability?

Katie's problem is not editing but that she makes these statements in the first place - if she didn't say them to camera they couldn't be used. She shows poor judgement by not realising how such comments might be taken.

Any employer would wonder how she would fit in to a team working environment.

I agree - it's very poor judgement. Any employer would have to be very wary of the way Katie would treat others, and the judgement she would use in all aspects of the job.
