Weird one this, not sure if anyone else has had this happen as well.

A few days ago I tried to call a friend who appeared online on Skype, it dials him then just goes silent. I was confused as to what was happening so called him on the land line and he said he could not see me as online.
It happens mainly in the afternoon and evening. The same happens it I try a Skype test call all my other contacts online. It only affects PC to PC calls.
It's really only happened since last week.

I have reinstalled the latest version and the same thing still happens. Have tried looking at their forums but had no luck.

Its happend to me a few times, even though the rest of my internet connection was fine. I just put it down to a problem at the other end, or network issues en route. Whilst skype is good and cheap, I wouldn't replace my phone with it just yet.

If I had an SIP service and this happend, I would not be a happy bunny!

Decided it is my crap ISP Tiscali as am suffering regular drop outs for up to 30 minutes and massive drops in speed every afternoon and evening.

On the look out for a new ISP...........
